The perfect cyclist's equipment: what to always bring on a trip with you
What could be more beautiful than exploring nature on your own bike? More and more often, the choice to go on a green trip is shared by travelers, eager to rediscover a direct and authentic connection with the surrounding landscape. Every bike trip requires a dose of physical training and propensity for effort, which is why we have always wanted to offer a wide range of trips to choose from. However, the element that can never be missing, in any type of trip, is the perfect cyclist's equipment and today we want to give you a series of essential tips to decide what can never be missing in your backpack and on your bike.

The choice of the perfect cyclist's equipment depends on a series of factors, such as the duration of the trip, the destination, accommodation modes and the type of participants. Based on these factors, we decided to draw up a list of useful accessories. Starting from those we believe are absolutely essential for a safe bike trip, here is what you should never forget:
- The helmet
- A reflective jacket
- The lights
- Anyone who wants can also provide a rear-view mirror to avoid continually turning around in case of car noises.
- A quality lock to tie the bike and keep it as protected as possible

Once you have verified that you have all these things, you can proceed with the rest of the equipment. One of the first decisions you will need to make concerns the type of luggage for your bike: panniers or trailer? The side bags will allow you to have greater maneuverability of the bicycle and easier transport of luggage in the accommodation. On the other hand, the trailer will allow you to carry more things and have greater visibility on the road and therefore more safety. However, there are also disadvantages: in the former case you will be less visible while in the latter you will have more weight and more difficulty in transporting your belongings inside the accommodation.

Once you've decided whether to go with a bag or trailer, you can proceed with the perfect cyclist's equipment:
- A water bottle, preferably made of aluminum to maintain temperature longer
- First aid kit with bandages, plasters, disinfectant and everything that might be needed
- Clean underwear or spare clothes in case of rain
- A couple of bags for any garbage you produce during travel breaks
- A cap or a bandana
- A compact camera or smartphone if you're passionate about photography
- All the necessary tools in case of bike breakdown (like gloves and hand pump)
- An energy bar
So much enthusiasm and a desire to discover the world. This is the element that should never be missing and that can make a real difference!
