Description

Day 1: Reims
Individual arrival at your hotel in Reims in the afternoon, where you will be welcomed by the warmth and elegance of the historic city of the coronations of the kings of France. The hotel's reception will provide you with a tourist package with instructions and all the essentials for a successful tour, immersed in the magic and mystery of the Champagne region.

Day 2: Reims - Matougues (50 km; +/-418 m)
After a rich and nutritious breakfast, depart by bike towards Epernay passing through Tinqueux. The day will be a continuous discovery, crossing the typical villages of the "Montagne de Reims" vineyards. Villages such as Mailly Champagne, Verzenay and Bouzy will tantalize you with their promises of exquisite tastings and breathtaking views. At the end of the day, you will arrive in Matougues, tired but euphoric, surrounded by the timeless beauty of the French vineyards.

Day 3: Matougues - Epernay (30 km; +/-121 m)
After breakfast, you will make a short and easy journey to Epernay, along the serene Marne canal. The afternoon will be free for you to explore Epernay, the undisputed capital of Champagne wines. You can start with a guided tour of the city's most impressive cellars, where the scent of aged wine mixes with the history of these cellars carved into the craie (chalk).

Day 4: Epernay - Epernay, Loop ride in Marne Valley (37 km; +/-471 m)
This itinerary will take you among vineyards and hills in the heart of the Marne Valley, introducing you to the rich wine heritage of the region. The views from the tops of the hills will leave you breathless, and the path will lead you to Hautvillers, the picturesque village known for its Benedictine abbey where Dom Pérignon perfected the art of Champagne. The day might include a lunch break in Cumières, in a unique restaurant carved into the craie, before returning to Epernay through picture-perfect landscapes.

Day 5: Epernay – Epernay, Loop ride in Cote de Blancs (35 km; +/-435 m)
Today's journey is dedicated to exploring the Côte des Blancs, the homeland of the Chardonnay grape. You will immerse yourself in a landscape of pristine vineyards, visiting historical sites such as the Pierry castle and the Romanesque church of Chavot-Courcourt, true gems nestled among the hills. The journey will bring you closer to the fascinating world of Champagne and its history, until returning to Epernay for a well-deserved rest.

Day 6: Epernay - Reims (36 km; +/-429)
The last stage of your bike trip will see you discovering the Hautvillers national forest, exploring trails through Avenay Val d'Or and Germaine, and returning to Reims, the city where it all began. 

Day 7: Reims
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure. Possibility to extend the stay.
