Day 1: Gemona - Venzone - Gemona (20 km; +/-70 m)
You will arrive by train in Gemona, where you will check into your hotel before setting off on an exciting bicycle excursion to Venzone. This enchanting town, a National Monument and "Borgo dei Borghi 2017", will welcome you with its medieval charm and its reconstruction after the devastating 1976 earthquake. You'll visit the Mummy Museum and enjoy the famous "cyclist's bar". After a stop by the lake, including a play area for the children, you'll return to Gemona. Here, you'll have the chance to explore the medieval city center and conclude your day with a local aperitif before retiring to your hotel.

Day 2: Gemona - Casa delle Farfalle di Bordano - Cavazzo Lake - Gemona (27 km; +/-165 m)
After breakfast, you'll cycle towards Bordano to visit the Casa delle Farfalle, a surprising tropical oasis boasting Italy's largest exhibition of live butterflies and insects. You'll then make your way to Cavazzo Lake, where you can picnic and take a canoe ride on the lake if you wish. Your return to the hotel concludes a day filled with natural beauty and adventure.

Day 3: Gemona - Lago del Cornino - San Daniele del Friuli (35 km; +/-325 m)
Your day will start with an energizing breakfast before you head off to the Griffon Vulture Natural Reserve and Lago del Cornino, where you will admire crystal-clear waters and the imposing griffon vultures. After a pleasant walk around the lake, you'll reach Pinzano for a picnic and a dip in the Tagliamento River. You'll ultimately arrive in San Daniele del Friuli, famous for its delicious ham, which you'll taste at a typical ham factory. A walk through the historic center, coupled with a visit to the Church of Sant’Antonio Abate, will round off your day.

Day 4: San Daniele del Friuli - Fagagna - Udine (30 or 35 km; +/-110 m)
After breakfast, you'll head towards Friuli Venezia Giulia's morainic hills until you reach Fagagna, one of Italy's most beautiful towns, known for its cheese. You'll admire breathtaking views from the hill with the castle ruins and visit the Cjase Cocél Museum of rural life. You'll then proceed to Udine, where the city's historic center will provide another opportunity to explore and discover local traditions.

Day 5: Udine - Rogge Excursion (20 km; +/-30 m)
Today, you'll explore the Rogge Walk, a cycle and pedestrian path that winds its way through villages, fields, mills, and small churches. You'll stop at Adegliacco Park, featuring various fun installations for little ones. Once back in Udine, we recommend a stroll around the historic center and a stop for the traditional "Tajut ritual" in a typical Friulian tavern.

Day 6: Udine - Aquileia - Grado (17 km)
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Aquileia for an audio-guided tour revealing the secrets of this city, the tenth region of the Roman Empire and UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll visit the Roman forum and the Patriarchal Basilica with its magnificent mosaics. This will be followed by a stop at the chocolate factory for a delectable tasting. You'll then get back on the cycle path towards Belvedere and Grado.

Day 7: Grado - Natural Reserve of the Isonzo Mouth - Isola della Cona - Grado (48 km)
You'll set off by bike towards Val Cavanata and the Isonzo river mouths, where you'll explore the Isonzo - Isola della Cona Natural Reserve. You'll return to Grado, where you can enjoy a sun-filled afternoon or stroll through the picturesque historic center.

Day 8: Grado - Barbana Island - Grado (6 km)
On the final day, you'll cycle to the port of Grado for a boat excursion to Barbana Island. You'll sail through the lagoon, rich in fauna, until you reach the island with its ancient sanctuary.
