Description

Day 1: Turku
Welcome to Turku, a historic city full of charm and vibrant with rich culture. After your arrival, take some time to explore its main attractions, such as Turku Castle and the picturesque streets of the city center.

Day 2: Turku – Parainen – Nauvo Island (59 km)
Welcome briefing at the hotel reception with bike rental delivery. Start your two-wheeled journey by crossing the enchanting city of Turku and then immerse yourself in the lush nature of the archipelago. The first stop will be in Parainen, where you can enjoy a relaxing coffee break and admire the spectacular limestone quarry. The day will end with an overnight stay in Nauvo, in a cozy inn located near the lively marina.

Day 3: Nauvo – Korppoo – Houtskär Island (56 km)
This day will be filled with sea views and island hopping, with four ferries and bridges taking you from island to island. During the months of June and July, the days are long and bright, allowing you to pedal at a leisurely pace. You can visit the medieval church of Korppoo and enjoy a delicious lunch at a seaside restaurant in Houtskär. In the evening, you will stay in modern seaside bungalows and can admire the sunset from the Mossala observation tower before relaxing in a traditional Finnish sauna.

Day 4: Houtskär – Iniö – Taivassalo – Velkuanmaa (37 km)
Continue enjoying the archipelago's scenery by cycling towards the inner islands of the area. Start the morning with a longer ferry trip and take some smaller ferries to return to the mainland. Visit the Petersen marina to admire the sailboats, a café, and small shops. If you want to make a small detour, stop by the craft village of Kustavi (+1 km). Take the last three ferries to reach the picturesque island of Velkuanmaa and spend a night in an idyllic archipelago. Option to book two different saunas on site.

Day 5: Velkuanmaa – Naantali (34 km + optional extension to 50 km)
Return to the mainland and enjoy some climbs as you pedal through the tranquility of the countryside. If you wish to extend the day's cycling, visit the Louhisaari Manor and discover how Finnish nobles lived between the 17th and 19th centuries (+16 km). Reach the splendid seaside city of Naantali, the summer residence of the President of Finland. Here you have time to explore the gem of the Finnish archipelago, offering a delightful mix of culture, architecture, and fascinating attractions, such as the Old Town with its cobblestone streets, wooden houses, boutiques, and shops. Enjoy a drink or lunch at seaside restaurants, take a boat ride, or visit the President's summer house, which will open after renovations in 2025. End the day at the Spa, available also the following morning.

Day 6: Naantali – Ruissalo – Turku (45 km)
After four days of islands and sea views, it's time for a change of scenery. Today's stage is the island of Ruissalo, a delightful destination with a mix of natural beauty and historic charm. The oak forests of Ruissalo host animal species, fungi, and plant species otherwise rare in Finland. The botanical garden of the University of Turku is located at the center of the island and is a paradise for plant enthusiasts. The island boasts idyllic villas built from the mid-19th century and offers sandy beaches, cliffs, and scenic spots such as Saaronniemi. After a visit, lunch, and coffee at Ruissalo, return to Turku by bike across the bridges or with the Föli waterbus across the river mouth.

Day 7: Turku
Conclude our tour with the option to extend your stay in this charming city, exploring all that Turku has to offer before your departure.
