Day 1: Lienz

Individual arrival in Lienz and luggage arrangement at the hotel. Located in the heart of East Tyrol and at the confluence of the Isel and Drava rivers, this region boasts the record for being the sunniest holiday area in Austria with two thousand hours of sun a year. The breathtaking panorama that opens onto the Alps and the Dolomites of Lienz will give you a first taste of the enchantment this trip promises.

Day 2: Lienz – Dobbiaco – Lienz (50 km) + train

Your adventure will start with a train trip to Italy, to reach Dobbiaco, where your cycling journey along the Drava cycle path begins. Here, you will have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in a natural lake or visit the adventure pool of Innichen, the recreational center of Assling and the Dolomitenbad in Lienz. Remember to explore the Wichtelpark in Sillian and the fascinating Garlitzenklamm, places that will enrich your experience with adventure and fun.

Day 3: Lienz – Berg/Greifenburg (40 km)

Before saying goodbye to Lienz, treat yourself to local delicacies such as Osttiroler Schlipfkrapfen or Tiroler Knödel. The journey will take you through the upper Drava river valley, where ancient Roman trade routes wind through picturesque landscapes dotted with mansions, ruins, and castles. Adventures and emotions won't be lacking, thanks also to the attractions along the route such as the Oberdrauburg adventure pool and the river oasis in Dellach.

Day 4: Berg/Greifenburg – Spittal (40 km)

The journey continues through blooming wetlands, rural landscapes, and welcoming villages, following the Drava River to Spittal. Along the way, you will discover historical market squares and cross refreshing forest sceneries. In Möllbrücke, the adrenaline of a 50-meter slide awaits you, while the last part of the journey will lead you through Drauenland, to reach Spittal, where you can relax strolling in its charming old town or explore the Millstätter See lake, just a stone's throw away.

Day 5: Spittal – Villach (40 km)

You leave Spittal behind you, continuing along the paths that run along the Drava river towards Villach. This stretch will give you cultural breaks and moments of freshness, such as a visit to the Carantana Museum or a dip in the clear waters of the natural pools. Villach, with its welcoming spirit, will host you for two nights, inviting you to discover its lively and warm soul.

Day 6: Villach – Lake Ossiach/Lake Faak – Villach (35 or 45 km)

A day dedicated to the exploration of the surroundings of Villach awaits you. This city, with its warm Carinthian thermal springs, adventure-filled playgrounds, and charming Affenberg Mountain, has already given you a taste of the exciting experiences it can offer. However, today, you get back on the saddle to visit the natural wonders that surround Villach. You will have the opportunity to surround yourself with the majesty of Lake Ossiach, where you can venture into its forest, or head towards the peaceful waters of Lake Faak, where family-friendly shores await you for moments of serenity and joy.
