Day 1: Saint-Palais-sur-Mer

Individual arrival in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer and accommodation in a cozy, family-run hotel, located just a few meters from a beautiful beach, will invite you to take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear sea. At sunset, the view of the sun disappearing on the horizon will be a magical moment. We recommend dining in one of the picturesque little restaurants along the coast, where you can savor fresh, delicious local dishes.

Day 2: Saint-Palais-sur-Mer - Royan - St Georges de Didonne - Saint-Palais-sur-Mer (31 km)

The first stage of your tour will take you cycling along the coast of Royan where you will discover hidden bays and breathtaking views of the ocean. The bike trail, immersed in nature, will offer moments of pure relaxation. Take advantage of the breaks to taste a handmade ice cream on one of the shaded terraces, little oases where time seems to stop. Today the Vélodyssée will guide you on a charming journey from Saint-Palais-sur-Mer to Ronce-les-Bains. As you leave Royan behind, you will plunge into an exclusive route for cyclists and hikers, away from traffic: no cars, no noise, except for murmuring conversations, occasional laughter, and the sound of waves breaking. You will cycle first along the Atlantic coasts, then the route winds through the La Coubre Forest, a vast pine forest reminiscent of the Landes. Here, we recommend stopping at the historic lighthouse to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view.

Day 4: Ronce-les-Bains - Île-d'Aix - Ronce-les-Bains (12 km)

After a hearty breakfast, a short bike ride will take you to the port of La Grève, where you will set sail for Île-d'Aix. As the boat plies the waters, you will find yourself immersed in a postcard-worthy marine panorama, navigating among oyster beds and under the majestic bridges of Seudre and Oléron, a true natural spectacle. Once on Île-d'Aix, a car-free paradise, you will have the opportunity to explore the island in all its authenticity, both on foot and by bike. Day 5: Ronce-Les Bains - Oléron Island (25 km)

A taxi will take you to Oléron Island, crossing an evocative sea bridge.

Once on the island, you will immerse yourself in a cycling route that winds through lush forests, oyster farms, and timeless villages. During the journey, we recommend visiting the "Marais des Oiseaux", an educational nature park that will allow you to get closer to the rich local wildlife in a serene and suggestive context. At sunset, the quiet beaches of La Cotinière, a short distance from your hotel, will be the ideal place to end the day.

Day 6: Oléron Island (30 km)
