Description

Day 1: Olbia
Private transfer or individual arrival in Olbia. After sorting out your luggage take advantage of this opportunity to walk around this splendid city, visit the museums or simply enjoy the view over the Gulf of Olbia.

Day 2: Olbia – Castelsardo (103 km; +1400 m)
The first leg of our tour will take us from the coast to the hinterland, where impressive peaks overlook the vast expanses of ancient cork forests, dotted with bizarre granite rocks shaped by the wind, creating a striking landscape. Next, we will cross through the imposing Valley of the Moon, made up of incredible granite rocks shaped by the force of time, to finish the day cycling along the coastal road to Castelsardo, a charming village perched on a promontory overlooking the sea, where we can admire the fascinating medieval castle and its picturesque alleys.

Day 3: Castelsardo – Alghero (93 km; +1340 m)
We leave Castelsardo to head towards Alghero, cycling over the gentle hills of Anglona that will give us breathtaking views of the coast and Corsica. After the thrilling descent of the Scala di Giocca we will reach Alghero where we can stroll through the historic city center.

Day 4: Alghero – Mores (81 km; +1270 m)
After a light warm-up along one of the most beautiful scenic roads of the island, we will tackle a challenging climb that will take us to the interior of Villanova Monteleone. The strenuous climb will then be rewarded by the spectacular descent to Lago Temo, an artificial barrier created at the foot of Monte Aiuradu, ending in Mores.

Day 5: Mores – Pattada (79 km; 1516 m)
Today's leg will take us through the Goceano mountain range, cycling through breathtaking landscapes. Along the way we'll discover the magnificent Burgos Forest, a forest founded in 1886 by royal decree and expanded over the years. You'll end the day in Pattada, famous for its traditional Pattadesa knife.

Day 6: Pattada – Posada (86 km; +1230 m)
We will leave Pattada heading east through Su Romanzesu, a large residential and cultural complex nestled in a forest of cork oaks with granite outcrops, which represents a precious and fascinating legacy of the Nuragic civilization. Before arriving at Posada, the final destination of the day, we will discover Siniscola: a charming village that encompasses crystalline sandy beaches.

Day 7: Posada – Olbia (55 km; +300 m)
Today, we expect a short day along the turquoise waters of Capo Coda Cavallo and Tavolara, an imposing limestone and granite island that rises from the sea, 560 meters high. Alternatively, you can choose a more challenging internal route. Both routes end in Olbia, the vibrant capital of Gallura that opens onto a turquoise bay and dazzling beaches. On the high pedestrian path Corso Umberto you can relax enjoying some of the local specialties accompanied by a glass of cool Vermentino, the best way to celebrate the end of this fantastic bicycle journey.

Day 7: Olbia
After breakfast, end of services, and individual departure.
