End the day by toasting with the excellent wine that bears the city's name.

Day 2: Porto – Furadouro (42 km; +/-213 m)
Today you will leave the hustle and bustle of the city to reach the peace and tranquility of the Atlantic coast. You will cycle through numerous towns nestled along the coast and within pine forests. The day ends in Furadouro, a hospitable city renowned for its excellent fish. Enjoy your meal!

Day 3: Furadouro – Aveiro (41 km; +/-119 m)
Today's stage is a pleasant ride that will take you to Aveiro. If you have time, you might take a trip on a Moliceiro, the brightly painted wooden boats used to collect algae, along the canals for which Aveiro is called the Portuguese Venice. Be sure to visit the salt pans and enjoy the wonderful calming properties of sea salt by soaking your feet in small ponds.

Day 4: Aveiro – Mira (35 km; +/-94 m)
Today's stage is a great mix of beaches, pine forests, and riverside paths. Mira, where you will stay overnight, is a small fishing village where the main activity is artisanal fishing with colorful boats once pulled by oxen. You will surely be inspired by the beautiful colorful striped houses and friendly locals. Observe the golden effect of the sun on the sand, the sea, the vegetation, and the contrasting brightness of the landscape colors. Make sure to visit the fantastic fishing village of Praia de Mira to discover the typical wooden houses called palheiros and indulge in the fantastic seafood specialties you will find here. You can conclude the day with a walk along the beautiful Mira lagoon enjoying the splendid natural landscape.

Day 5: Mira – Figueira da Foz (58 km; +/-360 m)
Today you will leave the enchanting town of Mira heading towards Figueira da Foz, along the Portuguese silver coast. You will cycle through green fields, long beaches, and a large pine forest. The stage follows a cycle path that runs along the Estrada Atlântica. Surrounded by well-preserved dunes, the picturesque and peaceful village of Praia da Tocha has a huge golden sandy beach extending to the north. Figueira da Foz is the ideal destination to rest.

Day 6: Figueira da Foz – Coimbra (45 km; +/-132 m)
Today's stage will take you along rice fields and lush countryside. You will cycle along the Mondego River up to Coimbra, where you will be welcomed by a modern riverside park with bars and terrace restaurants, a pedestrian bridge crossing the river, and large shopping centers. The beautiful historic center of this university town cascades down the hill to the eastern bank of the Mondego, a colorful collage of ancient buildings. During the academic year, especially on summer evenings, Coimbra's streets, home to the second oldest university in Europe after Bologna, resonate with the songs of students and the sound of their mandolins, the characteristic Fado of Coimbra.
