Description

Day 1: Konstanz
Arrival and hotel accommodation in the surroundings of the city center. If you have free time, take a walk through the narrow streets of the old town or visit the Sea Life Center aquarium and the Archaeological Museum.

Day 2: Trip to Unteruhldingen (30 km) + Boat and Ferry
The first stop on your bike tour of Lake Constance will take you to the nearby Flower Island of Mainau, home to the famous Butterfly House. From Wallhausen, you'll cross the northern arm of the lake by boat and reach Überlingen. On the way, take in the stunning lake views and stop for a visit to the Brinau sanctuary. Continue by bike to Uhldingen, where you'll find the Lake Constance Stilt House Museum, where you can see homes dating back to 4000 years BC and discover how our Stone Age ancestors lived. Once you reach Meersburg, the ferry will take you back to Konstanz.

Day 3: Konstanz – Meersburg – Friedrichshafen (25 km) + Ferry
From Konstanz, you'll take the ferry to the medieval town of Meersburg, where you will visit two castles and then continue to Immenstaad and on to Friedrichshafen, the birthplace of the zeppelin. The museum here is well worth a visit, especially for aviation and technology enthusiasts.

Day 4: Ravensburger Spieleland Amusement Park (30 km by bike or bus – not included)
The cycle path to Ravensburger Spieleland is hilly, so it is recommended to take the bus from Friedrichshafen and go directly to the amusement park. A whole day is barely enough for all there is to see, try, build, and play!

Day 5: Friedrichshafen – Lindau (30 km)
Pedaling through orchards, you will pass Langenargen with the beautiful Montfort Castle, built in Moorish style. Soon after, you will reach the Bavarian town of Lindau, where a 6-meter high lion guards the harbor. This picturesque town, located on an island in Lake Constance and connected to the mainland by two bridges, borders Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will be fascinated by its alleys and colorful houses.

Day 6: Lindau – Rorschach/Arbon (35 km or 40 km)
On this stage heading to Rorschach, you will reach Bregenz, another popular tourist destination on Lake Constance, where you will be surrounded by the blue of the sky, mountains, and the lake. The city, the capital of Vorarlberg, is also a vibrant cultural center, hosting an annual theater festival. The cable car to Mount Pfänder starts from Bregenz, offering breathtaking views of the entire lake. You will pass through the important Rheindelta Nature Reserve towards Hochst, and finally arrive at Rorschach or Arbon.

Day 7: Rorschach/Arbon – Konstanz (30 km or 50 km)
This final stage of your Lake Constance tour will take you through the Romanshorn region, with the most important port on the Swiss side. You will pass many villages where you can admire the typical framework houses and pedal along the lake shore, with the chance to take a swim. Finally, you will return to Konstanz where, to end your holiday perfectly, you can stop and enjoy an ice cream in the city.

Day 8: Konstanz
