Description

Day 1: Geneva
Individual arrival in Geneva, the city that hosts the European headquarters of the United Nations. After settling in and stowing your luggage, you will have the opportunity to visit the Palace of Nations, stroll through the shopping streets, taste the famous Swiss chocolate, and discover the enchanting Lake Geneva while admiring its spectacular fountain Jet d'Eau, one of the city's most famous attractions, located where the lake spills into the Rhone River.

Day 2: Geneva – Lausanne (70 km; +635/-613 m)
After a hearty breakfast, you will start the first stage of your tour. Departing from Geneva, you will cycle along a beautiful panoramic route that will take you to Lausanne, known as the Olympic capital, home to the International Olympic Committee and many global sports federations. In this charming and picturesque city, set in a unique environment between the stunning Jura mountains and the enchanting Lake Geneva, you can immerse yourself in nature and culture in perfect harmony. Before finishing your day and returning to the hotel, treat yourself to a glass of wine, after all, you are in a well-known wine region!

Day 3: Lausanne – Gruyères (64 km; +980/-591 m)
Today's destination is Gruyères. On your bike, you will head towards Vevey, a charming city renowned for its unparalleled views of the Alps, vineyards, and the lake. From here you can choose whether to ascend a short stretch, 13 Km, up the mountain or take a funicular. After enjoying lunch, you will continue your ride, but don't fill up too much because after crossing the lush, shady valleys you will arrive in the homeland of the very famous cheese: Gruyères. Let the fruity and intense aroma of this cheese carry you to the wonderful medieval town and don't miss the chance to visit Gruyères Castle.

Day 4: Gruyères – Fribourg (44 km; +636/-844 m)
If you haven't had a chance to visit the enchanting town of Gruyères yet, take some time before you start today's stage. Then, on your bike, you will cycle along the western shores of Lake Gruyère, passing through charming villages, green valleys, and imposing mountain peaks. Before entering the town of Le Bry, about halfway, we suggest making a small detour to Pont-en-Ogoz, perfect for the stunning panoramic view of the lake and the Island of Ogoz. You will then arrive in delightful Fribourg, known as one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Europe, dotted with fountains and flowers that adorn its ancient streets and the historic center where the Gothic cathedral of Saint-Nicolas de la Myre is located. Once in this city you can choose to visit: some museums such as the Gutenberg Museum, dedicated to the history of printing, or the Vélo-Club Museum, dedicated to bicycles; or, if you prefer the outdoors, spend the rest of the day in the enchanting Botanical Garden.

Day 5: Fribourg – Thun (55 km; +970/-995 m)
After a hearty breakfast, today's journey will take you to discover Schwarzenburg, the center of the pre-Alpine Gantrisch region, in the triangle formed by Bern, Thun, and Fribourg. Then you will cycle in the gentle Bernoise countryside until you spot the wonderful Lake Thun, located in the evocative Alpine setting between Thun and Interlaken, surrounded by a striking mountain scenario. After admiring this massive turquoise-blue body of water, take some time to visit the city and its solemn and unmistakable four-tower castle, dating back to the 12th century, which dominates the town from its height.

Day 6: Thun – Interlaken (35 km; +351/-355 m)
Your final bike ride will take you to Interlaken. Before leaving Thun, allow yourself a relaxing cruise on the lake, marveling at the sublime scenery surrounding you as you sip a cool drink. You will also have time for a coffee or a snack in Spiez, an ancient village on the lake. Your journey continues until you reach the city of Interlaken, situated between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, this popular tourist destination will offer you the choice of any activity you want, such as trying the thrill of paragliding or tree climbing. To end your day perfectly, we recommend taking a cable car (about 8 minutes) to go to Harder Kulm and enjoy breathtaking views; or you can visit, just 40 minutes away, the incredible Trümmelbach Falls, the longest underground waterfalls in Europe hidden inside a mountain.

Day 7: Interlaken
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
