Description

Day 1: Lannion
Individual arrival in the afternoon in Lannion, the second largest city in the Côtes-d’Armor of Brittany. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the small historic centre with its monasteries, typically decorated half-timbered houses, the palaces, and the flowered avenues.

Day 2: Lannion – Perros Guirec (54 km; +340/-330 m)
Departure towards Trébeurden, a small seaside resort with beautiful fine sandy beaches. In Trégastel and Ploumanach, the beaches of golden sand and the extraordinary explosion of pink rocks, offer a unique sight. Overnight stay in Perros Guirec, a seaside town, nestled on a beautiful rocky peninsula, the most famous and desired on the pink granite coast of Brittany.

Day 3: Perros Guirec – Minihy Tréguier (48 km; +680/-695 m)
On the road towards Port Blanc, along the Côte des Ajoncs, you will see a flowery paradise of heather and broom that covers the magnificent granite cliffs shaped by the sea and the wind. In this gem of Brittany, you will find small coves, rocky promontories, islets, and lunar landscapes. Then reaching the Pointe du Chateau, you will daydream in front of the famous House among the Rocks. Finally, you'll head up towards the estuary of the Jaudy en route to Tréguier, where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Minihy Tréguier – Paimpol (41 km; +280/-310 m)
Day discovering the small town of Lézardrieux, nestled between the two river valleys of the Jaudy and the Trieux. At the northern end of the Tréguier peninsula, the furrow of Talbert, a 3 km long sand and gravel tongue, juts out into the sea. This evening you will stay in Paimpol, a picturesque town in Brittany, famous for being, in the early twentieth century, one of the main ports for cod fishing; if you want to learn more about the history of the area, we recommend visiting the Sea Museum, where the ancient connections with Iceland are described through photographs, original objects, and vintage equipment.

Day 5: Paimpol – excursion to Bréhat Island (by bike or on foot)
A short bus transfer will take you to the Pointe de Arcouest, the departure point for the island of Bréhat. This island is the little flowery paradise of Brittany, surrounded by small islets of pink and orange granite; here, the landscape constantly changes with the tide. The visit can be done on foot or by renting a bicycle on the spot, for a few hours (not included, to be paid locally). Here you can admire hydrangeas, mimosas, mulberries, eucalyptus, aloe, camellias, but among all, the flower symbol of the island is the agapanthus; from June to September, you will see its violet blue flower bloom at every crossroad, in the streets of Bréhat. Return to Paimpol for overnight stay.

Day 6: Paimpol – Lannion (50 km; +365/-340 m)
Last stage to return to Lannion. Exiting Paimpol, you cross the Lancerf forest, along the Trieux river; on the opposite bank, you can admire the castle of Roche Jagu. Shortly after, you reach the village of Pontrieux, with its wooden houses and numerous wash houses. Continue then towards La Roche Derrien, a small characteristic village of the Côtes-d’Armor of Brittany. Built on a promontory in the 11th century, it overlooks the Jaudy river. Return and overnight stay in Lannion.

Day 7: Lannion
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
