Description

Day 1: Prien am Chiemsee or Pelham am See
Arrival on your own and check-in at the hotel. Throughout the day, our on-site staff will provide you with information about the tour and hand over the bicycles (if booked).

Day 2: Eggstätter Seenplatte and Amerang (40 or 60 km)
The oldest nature reserve in Bavaria, the Eggstätter Seenplatte, includes 18 lakes and is rich in picturesque locations. You will cycle through forests, fragrant meadows, and charming farms to Höslwang, with a magnificent panoramic view of the Upper Bavarian Alps. If desired, you can extend this tour by 20 kilometers and cycle to Amerang, where you will find the famous Car Museum and the historical Farm Museum. Passing through Eggstätt and Breitbrunn, you will return to Prien or Pelham.

Day 3: Tour in the Bavarian Sea (65 km)
Today, you'll discover the beauty of Lake Chiemsee and the surrounding landscape. You'll be enchanted by the unique nature and visit key attractions such as the Roman Museum in Seebruck or the Horse Museum in Arlaching. You can also swim and refresh yourself in the waters of Lake Chiemsee.

Day 4: Tour of Herreninsel and Fraueninsel Islands
Take the boat from Prien to Herreninsel, where you can visit the famous Herrenchiemsee Castle, built under King Ludwig II. On your way back, you will stop at Fraueninsel island, where you will find a famous abbey, the oldest existing German-speaking female convent on the northern side of the Alps. Explore the beautiful gardens, the fish smokehouses, and the romantic outdoor areas of the lakeside restaurant. Only Standard and Superior categories include arrival at the dock (otherwise there and back 20 km).

Day 5: Tour in the Achental Valley or excursion to Lake Simsee and Rosenheim (40 or 55 km)
Today's tour will depend on the hotel category in which you are staying: those in the Standard or Superior category will cycle to discover the Achental Valley, while others will take an exciting excursion to Lake Simsee and Rosenheim. In the first case, you will need to take the bus or train (not included) from Prien to Übersee. Then you will cycle by breathing the healthy air of Grassau and along the Achental cycle path, passing through Unterwössen up to Schleching. You will cross colorful meadows, surrounded by spectacular mountains, and cycle along the quiet Tiroler Ache river, passing through Marquartstein up to Grassau. Quiet and shaded paths will lead you through the Rottauer Filze (moor) up to Bernau and along Lake Chiemsee up to Prien. In the second case, you will cycle to Bad Endorf up to Lake Simsee, with its beautiful reeds and unspoiled banks. The cycle paths continue along the lake, through nature and landscape. After a few kilometers, you will reach the Inn river, which will lead you to the center of Rosenheim with its historic center, open-air breweries, and decorated facades. Return by train (not included).

Day 6: Lakes and Monasteries (45 km)
The day begins with a picturesque boat trip on Lake Chiemsee from Prien to Seebruck (only for Standard and Superior categories, others will cycle to Seebruck). You will then cycle through Truchtlaching an der Alz, to Seeon Monastery, with its famous buildings and romantic lake. In the pretty town of Gstadt, you will once again admire the magical blue of Lake Chiemsee and cycle through Breitbrunn and Rimst, back to your hotel.

Day 7: Prien am Chiemsee
After breakfast, the services end and individual departure.
