Description

Day 1: Klaipėda
Arrive individually in Klaipėda and check into the hotel.

Day 2: Klaipėda – Palanga – Klaipėda (58 km)
After breakfast, welcome briefing with a local representative. You will cycle to Palanga, along the Lithuanian seaside cycle track, which leads to Giruliai Forest and the Coastal Regional Park. Along the way, you'll see the Dutchman’s Cap, a 24-meter high coastal cliff, and Lake Plazė. In Palanga, visit the Botanical Park and the Amber Museum, explore J. Basanavičius pedestrian street, filled with cafes and restaurants, and the 470-meter long pier pointing towards the Baltic Sea. Overnight in Klaipėda.

Day 3: Klaipėda – Šilutė (44 km)
Transfer by minibus (40 km) inland, where your cycle tour begins. You'll ride through picturesque country roads and the wonderful meadows of Pamarys, to Šilutė. This region is known as the land of the stork. Along the way, stop in the village of Švėkšna, to explore the estate with its beautiful park and the imposing neo-Gothic church of St. James the Apostle. Arrive in Šilutė, check-in, and optional dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Šilutė – Rusnė Island – Šilutė (47 km)
Explore Šilutė, a town named after Šilokarčema (a pine forest pub), and take a circular tour of Rusnė Island, the only island in Lithuania located in the Nemunas River Delta Regional Park. Along the way, visit Rusnė village and the monument dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and Hermann Kallenbach, the old aqueduct and the 19th-century lighthouse in Uostadvaris harbor. Overnight in Šilutė.

Day 5: Šilutė – Nida (33 km)
Today you depart by bike towards Cape Ventė, where you can visit the Ornithology Museum and the 19th-century lighthouse, offering a unique panoramic view of the surrounding landscape, including a glimpse of the shimmering sand dunes of the Neringa Peninsula. Every migration season, one million birds pass this point. Take a boat across the Curonian Lagoon to Nida. Arrive in Nida, followed by a bike stretch to reach the hotel.

Day 6: Free day on the Baltic Sea (10 km)
A free day to explore Nida, an ancient fishing village on the Neringa Peninsula, bathed by the Baltic Sea on one side and the Curonian Lagoon on the other. Today Nida is the largest settlement in the Neringa region and one of the most beautiful resorts in Lithuania. Cycle or walk along the impressive sand dunes, visit the most famous places: the Fisherman's House, the summer house of the famous German writer Thomas Mann and the Amber Gallery. Stay overnight in Nida.

Day 7: Nida – Neringa Peninsula – Klaipėda (58 km)
The day starts off by cycling on a paved bike path, alongside the sea leading to the Neringa Peninsula and back to Klaipėda. Along the way, enjoy a splendid view of the Neringa Peninsula sand dunes, where you can: see a colony of grey herons and cormorants; visit the Hill of Witches, which hosts a hundred whimsical and crazy wooden sculptures, inspired by Lithuanian legends and scattered along the forest path; swim in the Baltic Sea; or relax and sunbathe on golden beaches. Eventually, you'll reach Smiltynė, where you'll take a ferry to the old town of Klaipėda, where you will spend the night.

Day 8: Klaipėda
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
