Description

Day 1: Corfu
Arrival at Corfu airport. Transfer (payable on the spot) to the hotel, located in the city of Corfu (Kerkyra in Greek). If you have the time, take advantage to take a stroll through the streets of this adorable coastal city.

Day 2: Kerkyra – Achilleion – Paramonas (30 km)
Delivery of the rental bicycles. The first stage of your Corfu cycling holiday will take you to the famous seashore chapel of Kanoni. You will then cross the Halikiopoulos Lagoon, and then climb to the Achilleion, the palace built on the island by Princess Sissi. After that, you will continue towards the west coast along a scenic road, and then traverse a shaded path that will take you to the beautiful Paramonas beach and to the hotel, where you will spend the next two nights. Overnight in a hotel in Paramonas.

Day 3: Paramonas – Korission – Chlomos – Paramonas (42 km)
Your Corfu island cycling tour continues along a small coastal road. You will reach the Gardiki Fortress and Lake Korission, separated from the sea by the immense beautiful Halikounas beach, an exceptional biotope that hosts 126 species of birds including flamingos, ibis, herons and, if you are lucky, you will also be able to spot the Dalmatian pelican. After a beautiful climb to the Chlomos panoramic point, you will continue along the coast, while on the way back towards Paramonas, you can stop to visit the village of Agios Mattheos. Overnight in a hotel in Paramonas.

Day 4: Paramonas – Pelekas – Liapades (46 km)
Today's stage of the Corfu cycling tour starts from Paramonas, crosses the Messongi plain and then takes the road to Koyevinas. A beautiful section under the shade of cypress trees, leads you through picturesque villages until you arrive at Pelekas, from where you can enjoy a wide view of the center of Corfu. More picturesque villages, away from the tourist routes, are ready to welcome you on the stretch between Ropa and Lipiades. Overnight in a guesthouse in Liapades.

Day 5: Liapades – Palaiokastritsa – Aggelokastro – Agios Georgios – Liapades (44 km or 33 km)
In this stage of the Corfu cycling tour, you will have the opportunity to choose between a longer and a shorter route. In the longer version, you will pedal towards the Palaiokastritsa monastery (visitable) and the five bays that made this village famous. A steep road will then take you to Lakones, from where you will enjoy an incredible view. A short detour to the Aggelokastro Fortress (visitable), will take you, after a beautiful descent, to Agios Georgios beach. On the way back to Lipiades, you will finally cross beautiful villages, in some of which the scenes of the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only were shot. In the shorter version, you will always pedal towards the Palaiokastritsa monastery, you will climb to Lakones and then detour to the Aggelokastro Fortress. From here, follow a small road that leads to the Helidon viewpoint, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Bay of Agios Georgios, the northern part of the island and the Diapontie Islands. After passing through the village of Vistonas, a small road will take you to the highest point of the plateau, offering a magnificent panorama of the southern part of Corfu. Overnight in a hotel in Liapades.

Day 6: Liapades – Doukades – Sokraki (37 km)
After days spent pedaling between the coast and the hills, you will now head towards the mountain and the wide plateau that dominates the northern part of Corfu, climbing up to 900 meters. It will be the ideal occasion to discover hidden valleys and typical villages, pedaling surrounded by magnificent landscapes. You will end up reaching Sokraki, which is located right in the center of the plateau, offering a splendid panoramic view of the Bay of Corfu. Overnight in Sokraki.

Day 7: Sokraki – Pantokrator – Corfu (57 km)
In this final stage of your journey through the island of Corfu by bicycle, you will climb Mount Pantoktrator, the highest on the island. From here, the view spans the entire island of Corfu, the Diapontie Islands and also the Epirus region and the Albanian coast. Next, you will head towards Ipsos Bay and Corfu Bay before returning to the hotel. Return of the rental bicycles. Overnight in a hotel in Corfu.

Day 8: Corfu
After breakfast, services end.
Transfer to the airport (payable on the spot).
