Description

Day 1: Arrecife
Individual arrival in Lanzarote. Taxi transfer from Arrecife airport to the hotel. Free day to enjoy the beach of Costa Teguise before starting the real bike journey.

Day 2: Costa Teguise – Haría (33 km or 51 km)
Today, you will ride to the city of Haría, inland. On the way, you will have the opportunity to admire the famous works of Manrique, such as El Jardín de Cactus, Los Jameos del Agua, El Mirador del Río, which are an integral part of the surrounding volcanic landscape. You will also have the opportunity to visit Lanzarote's famous volcanic cave, La Cueva de los Verdes. Then you will pass through several fishing villages, without ever losing sight of the impressive Monte Corona. Finally, you will arrive in the picturesque village of Haría, surrounded by its countless palms.

Day 3: Haría – San Bartolomé (33 km or 52 km)
After breakfast, you will ride towards Teguise, once the capital of the island of Lanzarote. During this stage, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the coast. Teguise itself is a delightful town, characterized by traditional architecture and numerous pleasant small bars in which to refresh yourself. From here, you will continue towards San Bartolomé and the enchanting wine area of La Geria, where you will arrive at a country hotel, where you will stay for two nights.

Day 4: San Bartolomé (50 km)
Today you will have a free day at your country hotel: you can choose to relax or enjoy a circular bike tour, or both! The tour will take you along the beautiful Famara beach, with its spectacular volcanic cliffs as a backdrop. After continuing along the coast for a while, you will cross the vast lava fields and the enchanting lunar landscape to return to San Bartolomé.

Day 5: San Bartolomé – Playa Blanca (50 km)
From San Bartolomé, you will head towards the island's main attraction, Timanfaya National Park. This is where Lanzarote's volcanic nature manifests itself in its most spectacular form. The eruptions of 1730 – 1736 covered about a quarter of the entire island, including numerous villages, and created the impressive lava landscape we see today. From here, you will continue towards the south, making a stop along the way to admire the coast along the volcanic crater of El Golfo, before reaching the seaside resort of Playa Blanca.

Day 6: Playa Blanca (36 km or 70 km)
Playa Blanca is located on the south coast of the island of Lanzarote, opposite Fuerteventura. Today you will have the opportunity to reach Corralejo by boat and enjoy a trip or a bike ride on another island. Alternatively, you can enjoy a day at Playa Blanca and take the opportunity to visit the nearby coves and beaches of Papagayo, the best in Lanzarote, as they are still quite unspoiled and off the tourist routes. Another option is to visit El Golfo, to enjoy a good fish lunch on the beach.

Day 7: Playa Blanca – Arrecife (50 km)
From Playa Blanca, you will bicycle through the beautiful Femés hills until you reach the wine region of La Geria. Here, the unusual vine cultivation techniques have given rise to a charming and unique landscape, as well as the production of some fine wines. Afterwards, you will descend to the coast and cycle along the pleasant promenade from Puerto del Carmen to Arrecife.

Day 8: Arrecife
After breakfast, a short taxi ride will take you to the airport.
