Description

```html
Day 1: Bayeux
Upon your arrival in Bayeux, you will immediately immerse yourself in the charm of its narrow streets and elegant merchant mansions. You will admire the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral, a gem of Romanesque architecture, and discover the incredible Bayeux Tapestry. This precious embroidered fabric vividly narrates the events of William the Conqueror's Norman conquest of England in 1066.
Day 2: Bayeux - Bayeux (44 km; +344 m)
For the first cycling excursion, the adventure will set off towards Longues-sur-Mer, where the imposing German defensive batteries await you. You will then continue to Gold Beach and the picturesque Arromanches, where the remains of the massive artificial harbor, ordered by Winston Churchill, are still visible. A tip? Don't miss Arromanches 360°, a circular cinema that emotionally tells the story of the Battle of Normandy. You will return to Bayeux by cycling through the Norman countryside, following winding lanes between the charming hedgerow-bordered fields, the distinctive "bocage".
Day 3: Bayeux - Omaha Beach (55 km; +382 m) + option 14 km
The second day will take you to Vierville-sur-Mer and Omaha Beach, known as 'bloody Omaha' due to the severe Allied losses during the landing. Here, atop the cliff, you will find the American cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, where the orderly rows of graves, surrounded by emerald green grass and the ever-present sea, convey an intense sense of peace and serenity. On returning to Bayeux, you may choose to make an optional visit to the Overlord Museum. For those who love challenges, it will be possible to extend the route by visiting the 30-meter high cliffs of La Pointe du Hoc. Even today, you will clearly see the traces of damage caused by the bombing of Allied ships in the channel.
Day 4: Bayeux - Valley of the Seulles and Norman "bocage" (44 km; +374 m)
The last day of your bike tour will lead you along enchanting country roads typical of the Bessin region to the Abbey of Juaye-Mondaye. Founded in 1202 by the Premonstratensians, this abbey is still inhabited, and the current buildings date back to the 18th century in perfect classical style. Continuing, you will discover the fascinating landscapes of the Seulles valley, with its small roads crossing this charming pastural landscape. The view of fields and gentle hills of the Norman countryside will be the perfect setting to conclude this bike adventure, marked by discovery and wonder.
Day 5: Departure
With reluctance, but surely enriched by an unforgettable experience, you will bid farewell to Normandy, taking with you the timeless beauty of its landscapes and the memories of a unique journey. You can plan your departure based on your personal itinerary, leaving this special land that has granted you unforgettable emotions.
