Description

```html
Day 1: Colmar
Individual arrival in Colmar and check-in at the hotel. Spend some time exploring this wonderful city, stroll through the historic center and its charming medieval alleys.
Day 2: Colmar – Circular tour of the famous wine villages – Colmar (45 or 60 km)
You'll leave Colmar heading north, cycling to Ribeauvillé, before returning to Colmar through the splendid wine villages of Riquewihr, Turckheim, and Eguisheim, ranked among the Most Beautiful Villages in France.
Day 3: Colmar – Mulhouse – Colmar (65 km)
From Colmar, you will follow the beautiful bike path that will take you to Neuf-Brisach, a small French town known primarily for the octagonal fortification that surrounds it, designed by Vauban and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. Continuing, you'll reach the charming village of Ottmarsheim, with its beautiful 12th-century church. You'll proceed entering the Hardt forest and then follow the Huningue Canal to reach Mulhouse. We recommend visiting the National Automobile Museum, the largest automobile museum in the world, after enjoying a relaxing stroll or bike ride in its historic center. Return trip to Colmar by regional train.
Day 4: Colmar – Sélestat – Osthouse (30 or 65 km)
You'll cycle along the canal bike path to Marckolsheim on the Rhine. From there, continue towards Sélestat, which boasts a rich architectural heritage. Its charming historic center features two magnificent churches: the Romanesque Church of Sainte Foy from the 12th century and the Gothic Church of Sainte Georges built between the 13th and 15th centuries. Continuing, you'll find the village of Ebersmunster, home to a treasure of French religious heritage: its abbey church, dedicated to Saint Maurice, was transformed into a German Baroque style in the early 18th century and is considered one of the most beautiful churches in eastern France. Compared to the many rural villages along the way, the larger town of Benfeld with its beautiful Renaissance-style town hall will be a very interesting contrast. It is possible to travel directly from Colmar to Sélestat by train (bicycles are allowed for free).
Day 5: Osthouse – Strasbourg – Osthouse (25 or 70 km)
On a paved bike path along the Canal du Rhône au Rhin, you'll cycle north to Strasbourg. The route ends at the Barrage Vauban, a covered bridge and defensive structure erected in the 17th century on the Ill River. From its panoramic terrace, you'll enjoy a wonderful view of Strasbourg's old town, which you can later explore by bike or on foot. Strasbourg boasts one of the most beautiful and functional bike path networks in France. The picturesque La petite France district and the magnificent Gothic cathedral are just some of the many treasures you'll encounter in Strasbourg. Possibility to reach Strasbourg by train (bicycles are allowed for free) to have more time to visit the city.
Day 6: Osthouse – Circular tour of the wine villages – Osthouse (50 or 60 km)
This circular tour will take you west to the foothills of the Vosges Mountains: here the famous vineyards begin. It is worth exploring the small but picturesque old town of Obernai, as well as the wine village of Barr. On the way back, you'll have the opportunity to visit other splendid wine villages along the Wine Route, such as Mittelbergheim, Andlau, Itterswiller, and Nothalten, or you can shorten your stage by passing through the flowered village of Stotzheim.
Day 7: Osthouse – Circular tour in the Rhine valley – Osthouse (40 or 60 km)
This route will take you east across the marshes to the cause of this beautiful flat landscape: the Rhine. You'll cycle along the German bank, crossing landscapes similar to the Grand Ried until you reach the town of Lahr. Lahr is located at the foothills of the wine hills, where the Black Forest mountains begin. Above the Rhine dam, you'll ride along the swampy forests and, if you wish, you can cross a stretch with the ferry to reach the French border town of Rhinau. From there, you won't be far from the hotel.
Day 8: Osthouse
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
