Description

Day 1: Strasbourg
Individual arrival in Strasbourg, hotel accommodation and free time to explore the city.
Day 2: Strasbourg – Selestat (25 or 65 km)
Today you will leave Strasbourg following the Rhone-Rhine canal that will take you along its very pretty bicycle path in the heart of the Ried.
Day 3: Selestat – Colmar (50 or 65 km)
Today you will travel through the landscapes and villages of the Ried, a region rich in aquatic flora and fauna. Then you will arrive in Colmar, the wine capital of Alsace and city of art, through Colmar's bike path.
Day 4: Colmar – Mulhouse (65 km)
From Colmar, you will head east towards Neuf Brisach, then continue south to reach the sweet village of Ottmarsheim, with its beautiful 12th century church. You will then enter the Hardt forest, before proceeding along the Huningue canal to reach Mulhouse. After enjoying Mulhouse's historic centre, there are many museums to visit.
Day 5: Mulhouse – Guebwiller (35 or 45 km)
You will leave the banks of the Rhine and the villages of the Sundgau to head to Ungersheim, all the way to the Alsace Ecomuseum. You will then arrive in Guebwiller, nestled at the foot of the Vosges, where you will spend the night.
Day 6: Guebwiller – Riquewihr (40 or 50 km)
At the foot of the Vosges, nestle the wine-growing villages which are the cause of Alsace's Grand Crus reputation: Eguisheim, Turckheim, Kaysersberg, and Riquewihr.
Day 7: Riquewihr – Obernai (35 - 50 km)
Along the Alsace Wine Route, you will discover the villages of Ribeauville, Bergheim, Andlau and its abbey, Barr, and Obernai.
Day 8: Obernai – Strasbourg (40  or 55 km)
Today you will ride along the bike path on the banks of the Bruche canal, up to the capital of Europe: Strasbourg.
