Description

Day 1: Vilnius
Individual arrival in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania for over 6 centuries. Private transfer to the hotel (not included) and welcome meeting with the guide and the rest of the group. Check-in and first night in Lithuania.

Day 2: Vilnius and Trakai (25 km) | by minibus (55 km)
After breakfast, guided tour of the Old Town of Vilnius. In the afternoon, transfer to Trakai and the first bicycle stage on the gentle hills surrounding Lake Galvé. During the route, stop to visit Trakai Castle, built in the 14th century on an island in the lake.

Day 3: Vilnius – Druskininkai (32 or 48 km) | by minibus (100 km)
Private transfer to Merkinė and second bicycle stage to Druskininkai, one of Europe’s most beautiful thermal resorts on the Nemunas river. Today's bike route also passes through Liškiava, famous for its Dominican monastery dating back to the 17th-18th century, one of Lithuania's most important spiritual sites, built on the banks of the Nemunas River. Arrival at the hotel in Druskininkai and free afternoon to rest at the Resort, or for a bike ride in the surrounding woods. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Dzūkija National Park (52 km) | by minibus (55 km)
After breakfast, private transfer to Dzūkija National Park, the largest in Lithuania, which is 90% covered by pine forests. From here, our bike stage today begins through forests and ethnic villages. In the afternoon, transfer to Grūtas Park, where statues from the Soviet era are gathered, which were reclaimed when Lithuania gained independence from the Soviet Union.

Day 5: Druskininkai – Suwalki (55 km) | by bus (85 km)
After breakfast, bus transfer to Poland. Once across the border, we will start pedaling on gentle hills with beautiful views of the lakes and picturesque Polish countryside. The destination of the day is Wigierski National Park. Along the route, we will stop for a visit to Suwałki, the capital of the same-named region. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 6: Wigierski National Park (47 km)
Bike tour on the trails surrounding Lake Wigry, the largest and deepest (73 meters) in the Podlaskie Region. Along the route, we will also visit an ancient monastery built in the 17th century by Camaldolese monks; the entire complex, consisting of a church and 17 hermitages, stands in a spectacular location on a peninsula in the lake.

Day 7: Augustow and Biebrza National Park (57 km) | by bus (28 km)
Short bus transfer to Augustow, a small but charming Polish town, gateway to the region of Suwałki on the Netta River. Today, we’ll cycle on the Green Velo bike path towards Biebrza National Park, established to protect a unique marshland area known for its variety of plants, rare species of marsh birds and mammals, such as elk and beaver. Arrival at the hotel in Goniadz, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Goniadz – Warsaw (39 km) | by bus (180 km)
The morning is dedicated to the last bike stage on the Royal Road through Biebrza National Park, then a bus ride to Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Arrival at the hotel and guided tour of Old Town Warsaw. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 9: Warsaw
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
