Day 1: Arrival in Romanshorn
Welcome to Romanshorn, the starting point of your cycling adventure along the splendid Mittelland-Route. Take some time to explore this city on the shore of Lake Constance, rich in history and culture. You'll already feel the excitement of the adventure that is about to begin.

Day 2: Romanshorn - Münchwilen (41 km; +425/-310 m)
You will speed through the gentle hills of Oberthurgau, surrounded by an enchanting view of apples and pears as far as the eye can see. You will ride through the picturesque town of Bischofszell and immerse yourself in the rural landscape of Hinterthurgau until you reach Münchwilen. This stretch will be a symphony of countryside colors and fragrances.

Day 3: Münchwilen - Zürich-Regensdorf (60 km; +550/-630 m)
You will cross the wooded valley of Tösstal where the murmur of the water will never be predictable. Vibrant Winterthur will welcome you with its mix of culture and industry, unassuming but full of surprises. Soon you will hear the roar of planes announcing your arrival in Zurich, where modernity and tradition coexist in harmony.

Day 4: Zürich-Regensdorf - Olten (70 km; +550/-590 m)
You will pedal through the Limmat Valley to the relaxing spa town of Baden. Along the way, you can admire the Gothic stained glass windows of Königsfelden and enjoy the view of yellow irises in the Aare floodplain. A relaxing excursion along the Aare riverbank will finally lead you to Olten.

Day 5: Olten - Biel (76 km; +670/-630 m)
Departure from Olten to cross the baroque city of Solothurn and follow the winding course of the Aare to Dreiseenland, the land of three lakes. This landscape, transformed by humans 130 years ago, will show you how nature and intensive cultivation can coexist. The verdant Seeland awaits you with its vegetable crops.

Day 6: Biel - Murten (47 km; +410/-405 m)
Cycling through Dreiseenland, you will reach the small medieval town of Murten located on the southeast shore of the lake of the same name. This charming town has retained its original structure with picturesque alleys and cozy shady arcades. You will briefly leave the main Mittelland route to explore the regional roads towards Murten.

Day 7: Murten - Yverdon-les-Bains (51 km; +520/-530 m)
From Murten, medieval and evocative, you will reach the small town of Avenches, located in the vast Broye plain between the lakes of Neuchâtel and Murten. This ancient capital of Roman Helvetia boasts a rich historical heritage. You will continue along the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, where the sound of birds and the gentle lapping of the waves will accompany you towards the majestic view of the Jura mountains. More than 100 bird species nest in the Grande Cariçaie, a 40 km long stretch of reed beds and marshes.

Day 8: Yverdon-les-Bains - Lausanne (52 km; +520/-575 m)
You will depart from the fertile Plaine de l'Orbe, framed by Roman mosaics and gentle hills. At Mormont, you will cross the watershed between the Rhône and the Rhine. The scene will change from the wild waters of the Venoge to the small "silver sea" of Lake Geneva. Lausanne will welcome you with its cosmopolitan charm and spectacular views over the lake.

Day 9: Lausanne
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
