Description

Day 1: Riga
Individual arrival in Riga and check-in at the hotel where you will be given the tour maps with a detailed program and route description.

Day 2: Riga – Jurmala – Riga (30 km) | train (25 km)
Breakfast followed by a meeting at the hotel with a local representative for the delivery of bicycles. You then have the chance to take part in a guided tour of the historic center of Riga, a medieval Hanseatic city famous for its Liberty-style buildings. In the afternoon, we recommend cycling to Jurmala, a well-known Latvian seaside resort, known for its long white sandy beaches, mineral waters, and mud with healing properties. Take the chance to swim in the sea and try riding along the beach. In the evening you can take a local train back to Riga (30 min; not included).

Day 3: Riga – Gauja National Park (40 km) | minibus (50 km)
The day starts with a transfer to Saulkrasti, where you can visit the Latvian Bicycle Museum. You will then begin your bike ride towards Sigulda, crossing the Gauja National Park, enjoying a spectacular view of the Gauja River, and passing through Gutmana's cave, Turaida Castle and the oldest Latvian church, Krimulda, built in 1205. Finally, you will arrive in Sigulda, where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Sigulda – Saaremaa (38 km) | minibus (330 km) or ferry (6 km)
Morning transfer to the largest Estonian island, Saaremaa Island, which has preserved all the best of ancient Estonia. With little traffic and flat roads, Saaremaa offers the perfect rural environment for cycling. You will travel along picturesque roads, along the coast of the Baltic Sea to the village of Angla, where the iconic windmills are located. Transfer to Mändjala or Kuressaar and check-in at the hotel for 2 nights by the sea.

Day 5: Saaremaa Island (46 km) | minibus (40 km)
Today, you will cycle through the wild nature of Saaremaa Island and Sorve Peninsula, famous for its lighthouse. You can finish your day by visiting Kuressaare, the capital of Saaremaa.

Day 6: Saaremaa – Tallinn (30 or 40 km) | minibus (210 km) or ferry (6 km)
In the morning you will bike to the Kaali meteorite crater, which is one of the largest craters in the world and is a wonder of nature, the rarest in Estonia. Along the way, stop in Kuressaare and bus transfer to Tallinn. In the afternoon arrive in Tallinn, check in at the hotel, followed by a guided tour of the old town of Tallinn.

Day 7: Tallinn – Lahemaa National Park – Sagadi (53 km) | minibus (90 km)
After a short minibus transfer, you will have a circular bike trip through Lahemaa National Park, which is one of the last unspoiled regions of the Baltic coast. The National Park is a paradise for nature lovers. There are dense forests, peat bogs, lakes, and waterfalls to discover. If you prefer wildlife to landscape, you can see elk, wild boar, and over 220 species of birds.

Day 8: Sagadi – Mustvee – Lake Peipsi – Tartu (50 km) | minibus (160 km)
In the morning bus transfer to Mustvee, where you will start a pleasant bike ride along the shore of Lake Peipsi to Varnja. Peipsi is the fourth largest lake in Europe, divided in half by the Russian border; along the way, you will pass many fishing villages. You will reach your hotel after a bus transfer to Tartu, a historic university town founded in 1632.

Day 9: Tartu – Otepää – Riga (28 km) | minibus (285 km)
After a short bus transfer to Otepää, a charming place with many lakes, you will start your bike ride through the so-called Estonian Switzerland, starting to appreciate the surrounding environment. You will finish today's stage in Sangaste, famous for its romantic 19th-century castle built in the style of Windsor Palace. Transfer to Riga, where you will spend the night. Along the way, you can stop in Cesis, to visit the medieval historic center.

Day 10: Riga
After breakfast, end of services and individual departures. It's possible to extend your stay in Latvia.
