Description

Day 1: Visby
The UNESCO World Heritage site of Visby welcomes you, offering many places of interest, including its impressive city walls. Try one of its numerous and exquisite restaurants and savor a delicious dish of lamb or fresh fish, ending with a saffron pancake that's typical of Gotland, topped with red berries and whipped cream.

Day 2: Visby – Kappelshamn – Fårö  (65 km)
Today you will visit the interior of the island: the Lummelunda cave, dating back 400 million years, can be visited with a local guide (not included). You then head towards the Jungfrun, which at 27 meters, is the highest limestone formation in Gotland, before reaching the coast of Kappelshamn. A transfer (about 35 km) will take you towards Fårö, to your hotel.

Day 3: Fårö – Slite  (75 km)
Start today with a circular tour of Fårö, passing through the natural reserve of Langhammars, home to many of this region's suggestive limestone formations, the rauk: over 10 meters high, these formations dominate the landscape. Fårö was also the residence of renowned director Ingmar Bergman and the Bergman Centre offers interesting insights into the director's life and artistic merits. The Bunge museum is also worth a visit: the largest open-air museum in Gotland shows ancient Gotlandic peasant life. Your destination today will be the former trading city of Slite.

Day 4: Slite – Ljugarn (75 km)
Wide sand beaches, expanses of rauk and small picturesque villages characterize this part of the island. A short detour will take you to Grynge, one of the most beautiful and preserved fishing villages of the island: twenty beach huts from the 18th and 19th century are lined up in a row, making the village extremely suggestive.

Day 5: Ljugarn – Burgsvik (65 km)
The southern area of Gotland is the most fertile and varied in landscape. Ride to the southern tip (+45 km) to admire the Hoburgsgubben, one of the most famous rauk, located in the Husrygg nature reserve. Here, you will enjoy breathtaking views over the sea.

Day 6: Burgsvik – Klintehamn (70 km)
From Burgsvik, a cycle path will lead you along the western coast of the island. Small coastal roads wind along endless pebble beaches and through wind-swept forests to Djupvik, offering you splendid views of the offshore islands.

Day 7: Klintehamn – Visby (45 km)
Start your day with a refreshing dive in the sea. Tofta beach is known for being the best sandy beach on the western coast. Just before Visby, we recommend a stop in the Högklint nature reserve, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the Baltic Sea and Visby, the final destination of your circular tour.

Day 8: Visby
After breakfast, the services end and individual departure.
