Description

Day 1: Arrival in Cheverny | excursion to Chambord (39 km)
This first bike route will take you cycling on the beautiful bike paths of the network of the Pays des Châteaux, up to the Villesavin Castle. Later, you will reach the famous Chambord Castle, the largest and most majestic of the Loire castles, which, with its 440 rooms, will welcome you in all its Renaissance splendor.

Day 2: Excursion to Chaumont-sur-Loire Castle (62 km)
Traveling along quiet country roads, you will reach the Chaumont-sur-Loire Castle, which dominates the Loire from a rocky spur above the river. Besides the castle, do not miss the chance to visit the International Garden Festival, which takes place every year inside the castle park. Here you can stroll among the artistic creations of gardeners and landscapers from all over the world, which each year compete on a specific theme.

Day 3: Excursion in Sologne (47 km)
Today you will cross the mysterious and wild Sologne, a region with magnificent landscapes made of shady forests and ponds, small private castles hidden among the vineyards and characteristic villages. On the way back, do not miss the opportunity to stop at one of the many local producers for a wine tasting: you are in the production area of the refined DOC Cheverny.

Day 4: Excursion to Blois (47 km)
Cycling through picturesque villages, you will reach the banks of the Loire, on which the beautiful town of Blois rises, of which you can visit the wonderful historic center and the castle, a perfect representation of how French architecture has evolved from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Return via the Russy forest. Departure during the day.
