Description

Day 1: Vilnius
Individual arrival and check-in at the hotel. At 7.30 pm there will be a welcome briefing and presentation of the route.

Day 2: Vilnius – Trakai (33 km) | by minibus (220 km)
After breakfast, guided tour of the city of Vilnius, capital of Lithuania for over 600 years. In the afternoon, transfer by bus to Trakai, the ancient capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, where the famous castle dating back to the 14th century, is located on a small island in Lake Galve. From here, the first bike stage starts through the picturesque countryside characterized by gentle hills. Then, transfer by bus to Kaunas. Overnight stay in a hotel in Kaunas.

Day 3: Kaunas – Klaipeda (31 km) | by minibus (220 km)
After breakfast, we will cycle first around Kaunas and then along the Nemunas river and to the coast. Following the road, we will encounter Zapyškis, a small town situated along the river, and its magnificent Gothic church dating back to the 14th century. Later on, a minibus transfer will take us to Klaipeda, a modern town on the Baltic Sea.

Day 4: Klaipeda Curonian Spit National Park – Klaipeda (57 km) | by minibus or boat (50 km)
The bike stage will lead us through the Curonian Spit National Park, an ideal place to explore by bike, thanks to the cycle path that runs the length of the peninsula offering stunning views of the sea, from one side, and the lagoon, from the other. The route lends itself to various interesting stops, including the Dead Dunes, a narrow strip of land, on which rise the highest moving dunes in Europe. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful views of the Neringa Peninsula that separates the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon. You will then cycle to the town of Nida, an old fishing village and today, one of the main tourist locations of the Curonian Spit. At the end of the day, a minibus or boat will transfer you back to Klaipėda, optional dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: Klaipeda – Palanga – Riga (32 km) | by minibus (290 km)
The bike stage starts early in the morning through the Regional Marine Park, a former Soviet military training area. Palanga is the major seaside center of Lithuania, hence its nickname Summer Capital. The city, located on the ancient Amber Way, was once a center of processing and trade of this precious material. We recommend visiting the botanical garden and the Amber Museum. In the afternoon, bus transfer to Riga (290 km), capital of Latvia, with a stop at the evocative Hill of Crosses, a place of unforgettable charm, with its four hundred thousand crosses brought here by pilgrims. Overnight stay in a hotel in Riga.

Day 6: Riga – Jurmala – Riga (30 km) | train not included (25 km)
After breakfast, visit the old part of Riga, a Hanseatic city known for its Art Nouveau buildings. In the afternoon, you can choose to stay in the city or take a bike ride to Jurmala, the main seaside resort of the Baltic states, famous for its long white beaches, mineral-rich waters, and healing muds. Return to Riga by train (approximately 30 minutes, not included). Overnight stay in a hotel in Riga.

Day 7: Riga – Gauja National Park – Sigulda (40 km) | by minibus (50 km)
After breakfast, bus transfer to Saulkrasti, in the Gauja River Valley. From here, the bike stage to Sigulda begins, through the Gauja National Park, with magnificent views of the homonymous river valley and the beautiful Gutmana cave, the deepest in the Baltic countries, whose walls bear 17th-century engravings. Visit the Turaida and Krimulda Castles, where you can find the oldest church in Latvia, dating back to 1205. Overnight stay in a hotel in Sigulda.

Day 8: Sigulda – Saaremaa Island (38 km) | by minibus (330 km) | by ferry (6 km)
Morning bus transfer to Saaremaa, the largest of the Estonian islands, which has preserved all the best of old Estonia. With little traffic and flat roads, Saaremaa offers the perfect rural environment for cycling tourism. We will cycle on picturesque roads along the Baltic Sea coast to the site of Angla, where the famous windmills are located. Transfer to Mandjala. Overnight stay in a hotel in Mandjala.

Day 9: Saaremaa Island (46 km) | by minibus (40 km)
Enjoy the day cycling through the wild nature of Saaremaa Island and the Sorve Peninsula, to reach the Cape Sorve lighthouse. Historically, the peninsula had great military importance, dominating the Irbe Strait and the Baltic Sea route to Riga. Overnight stay in a hotel in Mandjala.

Day 10: Saaremaa Island – Tallinn (40 km) | by minibus (210 km) | by ferry (6 km)
Morning bike tour to the suggestive craters of Kaali: a group of 9 craters created by the fall of a meteorite near the village; a wonder of nature. Along the way, we will pass Kuressaare, the capital of Saaremaa Island, home to one of the best-preserved medieval episcopal castles in the Baltic Countries, dating back to the 13th century.
Later, a bus transfer to Tallinn and guided tour of the old town.

Day 11: Tallinn
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
