Description

Day 1: Constance
Individual arrival in Constance and hotel accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, if possible, take some time to visit Mainau Island, which, thanks to its mild climate, is a true flower paradise. You can also stroll through the narrow streets of the old town of Constance or visit the aquarium at the Sea Life Center and the archaeological museum.

Day 2: Constance – Radolfzell – Überlingen (45 km)
The first stage of the tour will take you by bike through the famous imperial city of Radolfzell and the wooded and hilly Bodanrück peninsula, tackling some short uphill sections. You will finally arrive in Überlingen, a town famous for its beautiful late Gothic cathedral and the pleasant lakeside promenade.

Day 3: Überlingen – Lindau/Kressbronn (45 or 60 km)
From Überlingen, you will reach Friedrichshafen by bike, passing through vineyards: along the way, you can visit the baroque church of Birnau, a pilgrimage destination, and the ancient town of Meersburg. In Friedrichshafen, the city that gave birth to the Zeppelin, it is worth visiting the museum, interesting not only for aviation and technology enthusiasts. You will then continue to Wasserburg through extensive orchards. Overnight in Lindau.

Day 4: Lindau/Kressbronn – Höchst / Horn / Arbon (30 or 55 km)
Today you will head towards the Bavarian city of Lindau, located on an island and connected to the mainland by two bridges, at the border between Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will then continue towards Bregenz, another famous tourist resort where you will be surrounded by blue: the sky, the mountains, and the lake. The city, the capital of the Vorarlberg region, is also a very lively cultural center, where the theater festival is held annually. Finally, you will arrive in Hochst, where you will cross the border again into Arbon, Switzerland. Overnight in Arbon.

Day 5: Arbon – Constance (30 km)
Today you will cycle through the Canton of Thurgau. You will pass through many villages where you will see characteristic half-timbered houses to finally arrive in Constance. If you haven't already, you can visit Mainau Island, take a pleasant walk, and enjoy an ice cream at the harbor.

Day 6: Constance – Schaffhausen (50 km)
Today you will enjoy a splendid ride along the southern shore of the lake, among Swiss fishing villages with typical frescoed medieval houses; crossing the border between Germany and Switzerland several times, you will arrive in Stein am Rhein, literally stone on the Rhine: the city is, in fact, located at the point where the lake becomes the Rhine again. Continuing, you will reach Schaffhausen, a city that retains a historic center with 171 oriels: the house facades are artistically painted; in addition, the Munot fortress dominates the city, where, since 1377, a guardian has ensured order and legality. A visit to the city of Schaffhausen will take you back in time.

Day 7: Schaffhausen – Rhine Falls – Constance (45 km + boat)
Today's day begins with a ride to the Schaffhausen falls, among the largest in Europe. On the other bank of the Rhine, you will return to Stein am Rhein and continue through the Hori peninsula to Gaienhofen, where you will take the ferry to Reichenau Island. In a few kilometers, you will finally return to Constance.

Day 8: Constance
After breakfast, end of services.
