Description

Day 1: Trogir – Split
Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split Airport, located about 3.5 mi./6 km away from the harbour of Trogir. After checking in on the motor yacht between 2 and 2:30 pm, the first cruise from Trogir to Split begins at about 3 pm. The old town of Split, adjoining the famous palace of the Roman Caesar Diocletian, is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay in Split.

Day 2: Hvar island (20 km/12.5 mi.)
In the morning, we cruise to the lovely natural harbour of Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. Our afternoon cycling tour on the island leads us first through the vineyards on the famous Stari Grad Plain, before continuing on along a picturesque coastal road through the town of Vrboska, small Venice, to the charming harbour town of Jelsa. We will return to Stari Grad for the night.

Day 3: Hvar and Korčula islands (22 km/14 mi.)
Today’s cycling tour leads us across the island, along an almost traffic free road and through charming villages to the island’s capital, Hvar. Here there will be time to explore the magnificent Renaissance Square and enjoy the view from the Spanish Fortress, situated high above the city. After today’s tour, the boat takes us to the Island of Korčula. Overnight stay in Vela Luka.

Day 4: Korčula island – Makarska (37 km/23 mi.)
Today we discover the island of Korčula by bicycle. The tranquillity of the island along with its vast vegetation and cypress gardens have given shape to one of the most beautiful Dalmatian islands. Our cycle tour leads us via the village of Blato, situated like Rome on seven hills, and on to the harbour of Prigradica. Here the boat awaits our arrival and we set off for Makarska. If the weather permits, there will be the opportunity for a swim stop in a quiet bay on the way. The evening can be enjoyed strolling along the famous Makarska Riviera.

Day 5: Makarska – Omiš (44 km/27 mi.)
The day begins with a short cruise during breakfast to the town of Omiš. Today you may choose between taking part on a bike tour around the Cetina Canyon or participating in a rafting excursion down the Cetina River (not included in the tour price). The bike tour leads around the canyon offering spectacular views over the river and back down towards the sea. The rafting group are picked up by a bus from the boat and taken upriver to the starting point for the rafting tour. Paddling downstream in the rafts gives a totally unique perspective of the canyon and its flora and fauna. Once the rafting trip is over, participants are brought back to the boat by bus. In the afternoon, there is plenty of time to explore Omiš or to go for a swim at the nearby beach. The night is spent in Omiš.

Day 6: Brač and Solta islands (32 km/20 mi.)
Today we cruise to the island of Brač, famous for its radiant, precious limestone that was used for sections of the White House in Washington and for the Reichstag building in Berlin. Our cycling tour leads from the picturesque harbour town of Pučišća, home to one of the most famous masonry schools in Croatia, to the neighbouring town of Postira. Here, we board our yacht and cruise to the island of Šolta, where there will be the opportunity to take part in a 4.5 km hike with a visit to the local beekeeper Goran. Goran has a true passion for bees and has worked with them his whole life. He teaches about the importance of bees allows all his guests to try the delicious bee products. We spend the night in the harbour of Rogač on Šolta.

Day 7: Solta island – Trogir (20 km/12.5 mi.)
In the morning, we enjoy our last bike tour on Šolta. Walled fields, numerous olive groves, locust bean, and fig trees line the roads. The scent of rosemary accompanies us along our tour around the island. After our bike ride, we return to the yacht to enjoy our last crossing, past the cliffs of the Čiovo Peninsula and back to Trogir. Once we arrive, there will be plenty of time to visit the Old Town of Trogir, listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. The last evening aboard is celebrated in traditional fashion in the company of our fellow travellers and guides.

Day 8: Trogir
After breakfast disembarkation within 9 am followed by individual trip home or extended stay in Dalmatia/Croatia.
