Description

Day 1: Milan
Individual arrival at the hotel in Milan and briefing. Delivery of informational materials and bikes (if rented). Overnight stay in Milan.

Day 2: Milan – Abbiategrasso – Pavia (56 km)
The bike path starts from Milan, in the last stretch of the Naviglio Grande, the oldest canal of the Milanese irrigation system. Along the route, you can admire the navigation locks, remarkable works of hydraulic engineering. In Abbiategrasso, don't miss the visit to the Announciata Convent. A brief detour from the route to the city center allows visitors to see the Castle and the picturesque streets of the historic center. The route continues south along the Bereguardo Canal bike path, where you can admire the historic boat bridge. The Cistercian Abbey of Morimondo may be the right place for a break before reaching the city of Pavia, where the last stretch of the Ticino River flows. Overnight stay in Pavia.

Day 3: Pavia – Milan (42 km)
You still have time to see the historic center of Pavia. The bike path begins along the Via Verde della Battaglia, a great example of a perfectly built green belt, which connects the monumental Certosa di Pavia, a sanctuary and monastery of uncommon beauty, to the city center. Cycling along the Pavese Canal, you return to Milan.
Overnight stay in Milan.

Day 4: Milan – Trezzo d’Adda (40 km)
You will take the Martesana canal cycling path, built in 1496 to facilitate the connection between the city and Lake Como and Northern Europe. The route crosses a series of villages, where old villas, towers, farmhouses, castles, and signs are still present that attest to the presence and work of Leonardo Da Vinci. Shortly before arriving in Trezzo, the final destination of the day, on the opposite bank of the river Adda, is the Workers' Village of Crespi. Overnight stay in Trezzo d’Adda.

Day 5: Trezzo d’Adda – Lecco (36 km)
In Trezzo, in addition to the beautiful historic center, you can admire the ancient Visconti Castle, whose remains are represented by the walls and the tower from which you can enjoy an unexpected view of the Adda River and the Bergamo pre-Alps. The bike path for Lecco descends on the Adda and runs along the majestic Taccani hydroelectric power station, dating back to the beginning of the last century. The route continues north, meeting the other historic hydroelectric power stations (the first to provide electricity to the city of Milan), the Adda Rapids, the small dams, and arrives in Imbersago, at the Leonardo Ecomuseum, where you can admire one of the genius's works: the still functioning ferry. Along the route towards Lecco, you will find various places to take a pleasant break: in Brivio or near the two lakes. Overnight stay in Lecco.

Day 6: Lecco
After breakfast, a train transfer will take you from Lecco to Milan. End of services and individual departure.
