Description

Day 1: Strasbourg
Individual arrival in Strasbourg, hotel accommodation, and free time to explore the city.

Day 2: Strasbourg – Sélestat (25 or 65 km)
Today you will leave Strasbourg following the Rhône-Rhine canal which will lead you along its beautiful bike path in the heart of the Ried until you reach Osthouse or Sélestat, a city with a rich architectural heritage that includes several palaces and houses in Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles.

Day 3: Sélestat – Colmar (50 or 65 km)
Today you will travel through the landscapes and villages of the Ried, a region rich in aquatic flora and fauna. You will then arrive in Colmar, the wine capital of Alsace and a city of art, via the Colmar canal bike path.

Day 4: Colmar – Guebwiller (35 or 45 km)
From Colmar, you will follow the Alsace Wine Route. The dreamy wine-growing villages, with their half-timbered houses and magnificent medieval historic centers amid vast vineyards, are perfect places to relax, have fun, and enjoy the typical flavors of this area. Don't miss the opportunity to contemplate the Issenheim Altarpiece, a Renaissance masterpiece preserved in the chapel of the Unterlinden Museum. You will then go to Guebwiller or Westhalten, a wine-making village located at the foot of the Grand Ballon.

Day 5: Guebwiller – Riquewihr (40 or 50 km)
At the foot of the Vosges lie the wine-growing villages responsible for the reputation of the Alsace Grand Crus: Eguisheim, Turckheim, Kaysersberg, and Riquewihr.

Day 6: Riquewihr – Obernai Area (35 or 50 km)
Along the Wine Route, you will discover the villages of Hunawihr, Ribeauvillé, Bergheim, Andlau and its abbey, Barr, and Obernai.

Day 7: Obernai Area – Strasbourg (40 or 55 km)
Today you will ride along the bike path on the banks of the Bruche canal until you reach the capital of Europe: Strasbourg. End of services: individual departure or extension of the stay.
