Description

Day 1: Zurich/Regensdorf
Arrive individually in Zurich and check-in at the hotel.

Day 2: Zurich – Rapperswil (45 km)
Today you will leave the city and make your way through the outskirts of Zurich to Kilchberg, which is the hometown of the famous Swiss chocolate brand Lindt & Sprüngli. After a guided tour of the chocolate factory, you will have the chance to customize your own chocolate bar. For lunch, you will continue onto the gentle hills of the so-called Hirzel, from where you will descend towards the shores of Lake Zurich.

Day 3: Rapperswil – Brunnen (45 km)
Take the train to Einsiedeln. If you're in the mood for a bit of history, it's possible to visit the famous monastery before starting your bike tour along the marshy banks of Lake Sihlsee. Today's challenge will be the ascent up to Iberegg Pass, which rewards you with a fantastic view of the nearby Alpine peaks and Lake Lucerne. Your route will take you through the small village of Schwyz and ends on the tranquil shores of the lake in Brunnen.

Day 4: Brunnen – Lucerne (30 km)
Today's plan includes a fascinating lake tour. Indeed, you'll take a boat to reach the opposite shore to start your bike route in Beckenried. This part is pleasantly quiet and flat: you will pass a small airfield before reaching the lovely village of Stansstad. To end the day, enjoy a leisurely ride along the shores of the Kastanienbaum peninsula, which will lead you directly into Lucerne city.

Day 5: Lucerne – Zug (30 km)
Today's stage, mainly flat, connects the cities of Lucerne and Zug. A beautiful cycle path leads along the Reuss River towards the Canton of Zug. Along the way, you will stop at Root to visit the fascinating world of the chocolatier Aeschbach. You will end the day by visiting the beautiful old town of Zug, with its lovely lakefront promenade.

Day 6: Zug – Zurich (45 km)
Today's tour will take you through the Sihlwald nature park, a small paradise right on the outskirts of Zurich. You will stroll along Zurich's famous Bahnhofstrasse, one of the streets with the most exclusive boutiques in the world, before getting back in the saddle for the last time on this journey.

Day 7: Zurich
After breakfast, end of services.
