Day 1: Amsterdam The journey begins in Amsterdam, famous for its canals, museums (the new Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh, Anne Frank, etc.), the red-light district, and much more. The city offers an endless array of things to do and see, making it an exciting first stop. Try to arrive early to admire the elegant tree-lined canals, tall narrow houses, and the 17th-century shops.
Day 2: Amsterdam – Gouda/Oudewater/Bodegraven (58 or 68 km) After spending the night in lively Amsterdam, dive into the peace and serenity of the Groene Hart, the Green Heart of the Netherlands, a pleasant rural area with cows grazing among polders and peat bogs. The expansive, flat landscape, where church towers and windmills seem to touch the sky and clouds reflect in lakes and canals. For centuries, Gouda's weekly and annual market has attracted people from all over to buy horses, cows, meat, peat, seeds, and cheese. We suggest an afternoon stroll in the old part of the city to absorb its traditional atmosphere and to admire the vast and interesting market where the splendid 16th-century town hall and the Weigh House (Waag) are located. You can also take the last part of the journey by train.
Day 3: Gouda/Oudewater/Bodegraven – Papendrecht / Dordrecht (38 km) In Kinderdijk, you can see the 19 windmills standing in majestic rows since 1740. They were used to drain water from the polders into the river Lek, located at a higher level. One of the windmills is open to the public. Papendrecht is just a ferry crossing away from Dordrecht. Dordrecht is one of the oldest Dutch cities, entirely surrounded by rivers with beautiful bridges leading into the heart of the city. Numerous monumental buildings overlook the harbor.
Day 4: Papendrecht / Dordrecht – Willemstad (65 km) Resulting from a vast flood in 1421, Biesbosch is one of the few surviving wetlands in Europe, where the ecosystem has adapted to both saltwater brought by small tidal streams from the sea and fresh water from rivers. It is a constantly changing labyrinth of canals and creeks surrounding small islands covered in willows and reeds, a haven for water birds. End your day in Willemstad, a fortified city in the shape of a seven-pointed star.
Important: You can cross the Biesbosch park only on days when the ferry runs. This ferry does not run every day.
Day 5: Willemstad – Schuddebeurs/Zierikzee (50 km) Today you will enter Zeeland, a Dutch province characterized by light, wind, water, and vast open spaces. Comprising numerous islands, you will reach Belgium via bridges and ferry crossings. Cycle through postcard towns with quaint old houses and cobbled streets. The idyllic landscape is dominated by vast polders, dunes, and sandy bottoms.
Day 6: Schuddebeurs/Zierikzee – Middelburg/Vlissingen (43 km) A stroll through the narrow streets of Zierikzee is a true delight. The ancient and picturesque houses will take you back to its glorious past when ships sailed off to trade salt, wool, fish, grain, and red dye from the Baltic to the Mediterranean. The journey continues to the pleasant village of Veere. Since 1541, everything imported from Scotland (mainly wool) came through Veere, bringing not only wealth to the city but also a sizable community of Scottish expatriates who remained for 300 years. Retrace their steps with a city walk. Heading south, discover the nostalgic splendor of Middelburg, the capital of Zeeland. During the 16th and 17th centuries, it was one of the major Dutch trading centers. At the end of the day, enjoy the peaceful sunset from Vlissingen beach.
Day 7: Middelburg/Vlissingen – Bruges (66 km) After a hearty breakfast, take a ferry to the Zeelandic Flanders with its winding country roads, pruned willows, wetlands, and isolated villages. After crossing the border into Belgium, you will reach Damme on the banks of the romantic Damse Vaart. From there, it's a short distance to Bruges, the gem of Flanders. Bruges is a lovely city with a tourism tradition of nearly 150 years. Much of its medieval architecture remains intact, reflecting the old-world charm of its past when it was the center of the European wool and textile trade. The crossing from Vlissingen to Breskens must be booked online in advance.
Day 8: Bruges After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.

What kind of assistance will I have during the trip?
You will always have an emergency phone number to refer to. In self-guided trips, you should be able to perform minor repairs, like replacing a tube in case of a puncture, or fixing a dropped chain, but you can always count on local assistance for more serious breakdowns.
How do I know if a tour is within my capabilities?
We classify tours on a scale from 1 to 5 based on length, elevation, and complexity of the itinerary, but if you have doubts, contact us and we will help you find the most suitable journey for you.
What is the cost of renting bicycles?
The rental cost varies depending on the bicycle model and the duration of the tour. For some tours, we offer the possibility to rent different types of bicycles. During the purchase process for each route, you will be asked to indicate your preferred bike type and the corresponding price will be shown, so you can choose freely and without surprises.
Are rented bikes equipped with accessories like lights or bags?
Yes, rented bicycles are equipped with all necessary accessories to comply with road traffic regulations (lights, bell, etc.).
