Today we tell you about 5 destinations that are even more beautiful in autumn to visit!
Biking in Romagna between villages and gastronomy
A gravel bike itinerary between the sea and the hills of the Romagna hinterland, pedaling from one village to another and pampering yourself with some gourmet stop.
The ideal starting point for these two ring stages are Cattolica or Riccione. The route is particularly suggestive, especially in autumn, when the hills of the Conca Valley turn warm tones and among the colours the medieval villages, the fortresses and the Malatestian castles of this area are particularly rich. Also not to be missed is the spectacular Panoramic Road, straddling Romagna and Marche, considered one of the most beautiful roads in Italy and a must for local cyclists. But perhaps the height of perfection is reached at the end of the stage, when it is time to reward yourself with local delicacies, such as Romagna wines, to taste directly in the cellar, or the piadina with typical grilled sardines.
The route is hilly and you can choose between a version with shorter stages, suitable for most or a more sporty one. In any case, the experience is memorable and worth trying, even on an e-bike.
In Padua between taste and foliage
Take a Unesco Heritage Italian art city, a group of curious travelers on bicycles, the autumn foliage and here are the ingredients for a perfect autumn weekend to share with a group of new friends.
Autumn is one of the best times of the year to visit Padua, precisely in this part of the calendar the largest number of gourmet events is concentrated in Veneto, between wine and local specialties, there is really a lot to discover! Not to mention the wonder of the foliage, in which you can immerse yourself pedaling on the bike paths of the River Ring and among the Venetian villas, such as Villa Pisani, where in addition to the garden and the labyrinth you can admire great art exhibitions or visit the National Museum.
On e-bike on the trails of Cinque Terre
The Cinque Terre, with its picturesque villages and breathtaking views, represent an autumnal dream for lovers of outdoor activities along the stunning Italian coasts. In autumn, when the summer crowds thin out, you can enjoy quiet rides starting from Levanto, towards the villages of Vernazza and Corniglia. Pedalling on the track of the former railway, closed in 1968 and converted into a suggestive bike and pedestrian path, you cross tunnels, bridges and viaducts, each representing a small jewel of engineering and giving the landscape a unique character. Our itinerary then continues through the Valnerina, one of the most extraordinary places to visit in Umbria, capable of making you fall in love from the first moment thanks to the wonderful Marmore waterfalls, the villages, the ancient abbeys and the culinary specialties.

The Naviglio Pavese bike path, a thirty-kilometer route, is a classic for Lombardy cyclists. This version, enriched with a few more kilometers and points of interest, is perfect for a weekend getaway to be spent outdoors immersed in autumnal colours, alone or in the company of some friend.
It starts from Milan and from the oldest of the Milanese canals, the Naviglio Grande, following the quiet bike path, you reach Abbiategrasso, with the Visconti castle and the beautiful convent of the Annunciation decorated with frescoes of the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries, and the Certosa di Pavia, a magnificent monumental complex that is worth visiting. You then return to Milan always pedaling on the Naviglio Pavese cycle path.
