1. The Ice Supermarket in Romania

Romania was the first country in the world to have a supermarket entirely made of ice, the Profi Romania in Bucharest. Shelves and walls entirely built with 80 tons of ice and an internal temperature never above 5°. The supermarket was obviously inaugurated for the holiday season, in 2013 and was temporarily set up.

2. The Sofia Supercomputer in Bulgaria

Bulgaria is considered the Silicon Valley of Europe, reaching the eighth place in the world ranking for experts in the technological sector. It is enough to think that the inventor of the first digital clock and that of the first electric computer were of Bulgarian origin. In Sofia, in fact, there is the Discoverer supercomputer, one of the most powerful in the world.

3. The bronze statues of Bratislava

Bratislava, in Slovakia, is the city of fun statues. Created in 1996 to add color and cheer to the city after the communist period, they now pop out from the most unexpected corners, waiting for the next selfie. They are the most varied characters, represented life-size, including the snoop, the mocker, Napoleon's soldier, the paparazzo, the guard, two women next to a mailbox and many others!

4. The religious tolerance of Albania

Albania is one of the most tolerant countries in the world when it comes to religious diversity. Although most of the population is Muslim, all religions, even the minority ones are represented in parliament. In particular, the reconstruction of the Church of St. Nicholas, near the hamlet of Kruja, in which families of different religions participated, well exemplifies the will of the entire population to help and live in harmony.

5. The Green Theater of Odessa

This incredible outdoor space could only be found in Odessa, the cultural capital of Ukraine, recently added to the World Heritage of Humanity. Opened for the first time in 1936, today it is the emblem of the city's cultural strength. Here you can watch the screening of some of the films participating in the famous Odessa International Film Festival, take part in discussions and courses, all within the framework of a world-renowned cultural hub.

6. The Bocche di Cattaro in Montenegro

If you want to experience the emotion of the Norwegian fjords, but at a milder temperature and at cheaper prices, head straight towards the Bay of Kotor, also known as Bocche di Cattaro: an area made of narrow inlets that recall the fjords of Northern Europe and that offer breathtaking landscapes in a truly unique context.

The art of beer in Prague has a long history that is rooted in the many monasteries scattered throughout the city. In the Czech capital, some of the best beers in Europe are produced.
