Description

Day 1: Siena
Individual arrival in Siena, free dinner and overnight at a 3-star hotel near the historic center. Upon your arrival, you will be given useful information to complete the White Roads route.

Day 2: Val di Merse, Montalcino and Val d'Orcia (89 km; +/-1560 m)
The first stage will take you to ride on the roads of Val di Merse and travel two dirt sectors that will take you to Ville di Corsano, where the route will get crossed with that of L'Eroica. You will follow the road of L'Eroica until Buonconvento, where we suggest a break to visit the town. The second part will take you to the hills of Brunello up to Montalcino and then to Val d'Orcia, one of the most spectacular points of the route, with flowing dirt stretches and very panoramic. Free dinner and overnight stay in a typical Tuscan farmhouse, equipped with a swimming pool and SPA where you can indulge in a massage.

Day 3: Crete Senesi and Monte Sante Marie (92 km; +/-1800 m)
The second stage is certainly more challenging. In the first part you will have to face the dirt stretch of San Martino in Grania and then, after a short stop in Asciano, the difficult stretch of Monte Sante Marie, named after the three-time winner of the White Roads, the professional Fabian Cancellara. After overcoming these two obstacles you will reach Castelnuovo Berardenga, where you can recover from the efforts made, and then, with a succession of ups and downs near Siena, you will reach the last Santa Caterina climb, last difficulty before the final arrival in Piazza del Campo. Before returning to the hotel we suggest enjoying an aperitif in Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful squares in the world.

Day 4: Siena
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
