Description

Day 1: Valencia
Individual arrival in Valencia and check-in at the hotel. Take some time to visit Valencia, the city of sun, nightlife, and paella. A city balancing traditional and modernist influences that encapsulates two distinct landscapes: the Gothic city of Serranos Towers and Virgin's Square, and the future-focused modern architecture.

Day 2: Valencia (36 km)
From 10.00 you can pick up the bicycles (if rented). The first day will allow you to discover the beauties of the city of Valencia. You will cycle among the monuments of the fascinating historic center, reaching the promenade and its famous Malvarrosa beach. Continue to cycle towards the architectural complex of the City of Arts and Sciences designed by Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava. You will reach this magical area by crossing the wonderful Turia Gardens, one of the largest urban natural parks in Spain. This natural lung that splits the city in two, will lead you westwards out of town into the Spanish hinterland, where you can appreciate some of the natural characteristics of the Huerta, the countryside surrounding Valencia.

Day 3: ValenciaCullera (55 km)
At the beginning of today's stage, you will leave Valencia via the bike path that will accompany you for several kilometers until you reach the natural lagoon of Albufera, where you have the opportunity to visit, by a traditional boat (not included), the wonders of the place. If you decide to take the boat, another wonder awaits you for lunch: Paella to taste here in its land of origin. The second part of the stage continues between countryside and rice fields on one side, and beaches on the other. Once in Cullera, you can enjoy the sea and the beach adjacent to the hotel.

Day 4: CulleraDenia (69 km)
Today's stage could be defined as the Azahar stage, or the orange flower, a typical product of the area. Indeed, its presence dominates the countryside accompanying you on your journey, as does the sea. A flat journey with primitive and simple colors and scents, pure rural nature. You can lunch on the endless seafront of Gandia and continue the journey among the Barracas, the typical 19th-century peasant houses, the orange groves, and the faithful Mare Nostrum. Upon arrival at Denia, a typical maritime town, you can visit the castle on top of the hill overlooking it, where you can enjoy a wonderful view.

Day 5: DeniaCalpe (42 km)
Today's stage is the shortest, but also the slightly more demanding one, with a gradient that does not exceed 300 meters. You will pedal inland from the Cabo de la Nao, the promontory that closes the Gulf of Valencia to the south. From this point onwards, you will leave the orange groves and maritime towns to pedal surrounded by pine forests and typical hill towns, in one of which, reaching the "Cima Coppi" of our tour (don't worry, it's only 300 meters high), you will stop to refresh yourself and breathe in the calm atmosphere of these hamlets, numerous throughout the region. The departure will be light, anticipating a downhill section and a finale through a fantastic natural park overlooking the sea. Continuing to pedal, you will arrive at Calpe, where the Peñon de Ifach dominates, a mountain with a curious shape and a steep face that seems to spring from the depth of the sea.

Day 6: Calpe Alicante (45 km)
If you wish, you can take the train (not included) to arrive in Alicante. Otherwise, fasten your helmet and mount your bike all the way to Benidorm, one of the most famous and visited tourist destinations in the whole country, crossing a coast that at this point becomes jagged. A stretch characterized by various ups and downs, pine forests, the seafront and some tunnels. From here you will continue by train to Campello, a journey of just under an hour on board this panoramic train that will take you to the gates of Alicante. After a last short stretch by bike, you will arrive at your destination: Alicante. Alicante awaits you in all its splendor and its tireless nightlife for the last Spanish evening. Don't miss a walk in the old town, El Barrio, where bars, cafés, and local shops will be ready to welcome you, and along the Paseo de la Explanada, one of the most beautiful walks in the city.

Day 7: Alicante
After breakfast, the services end, and individual departures commence.
