Description

Day 1: Lucca and Botanical Garden (6 km)
Individual arrival in Lucca, where your tour of Tuscany by bike begins. The city walls will provide a great path to test out our bicycle. We recommend a visit to the Botanical Garden, important from a scientific point of view and a perfect introduction to the environment you will be exploring over the next few days on our bike.

Day 2: The Route of the Lucca Villas (27 km; +90/-85 m)
Today you will pedal on peaceful roads. You will leave Lucca and cycle uphill along the Serchio River, along the Cycle Path of the Fluvial Park. You will pedal towards the hills of Lucca and have the opportunity to discover 18th and 19th-century Villas, linked to noble families of Lucca: among all, Villa Reale di Marlia is worth a visit. Later, you will arrive at Villa Oliva, Villa Grabau, and Villa Torrigiani. At the foot of the Pizzorne, in the midst of the countryside, you will find the Camigliano Estate, where refreshments and a tasting of local wine await you. From here, following the Lucca channels, you will reach the hotel where you will stay overnight.

Day 3: Through and around Monte Pisano from Capannori to Calci (45 km; +290/-260 m)
Leaving the province of Lucca, you will enter the one of Pisa. Today's route will include some more challenging climbs and descents, but these will be rewarded by the beautiful landscapes you will explore on both the north side, Lucca, and the south side, Pisa of Monte Pisano. Finally, you will reach one of the most iconic and representative places of this territory: the Certosa di Calci.

Day 4: From Calci to Pisa and San Rossore Reserve (18 km)
Today's stage will be short, but beautiful and will take you under the most famous Tower in the world and around the city, to discover its Nature. In the morning we recommend a visit to the splendid Certosa di Calci: its monumental and scientific part, with the rich Museum of Natural History. Later you will leave for Pisa, traveling along country roads that will lead you: first, under the arches of the Medici Aqueduct (which come from Monte Pisano and still supply the city today) and finally, to the Piazza del Miracoli. In the afternoon, on your bike, you will head towards the Parco San Rossore, where you will stay overnight.

Day 5: Pisa between two rivers (26 km)
Today a fun day awaits you on two wheels: you will pedal from the sea to the pine forest through the dunes a few steps from the city, an exotic environment up to getting wet by the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Day 6: Massaciuccoli and Torre del Lago (48 km, +/-90 m)
After visiting the Lago di Massaciuccoli Reserve, with a boat trip to Torre del Lago Puccini, a place of great importance for the famous composer from Lucca, you will return to Lucca pedaling on the Puccini Cycle Path. Following the Puccini Cycle Path and pedaling to the notes of the famous composer, you will arrive at the Lipu Oasis where you can immerse yourself in the surrounding nature and stop on the shores of its lake. Then you will return to Lucca following first the Serchio River, and then the hills of Gattaiola and Meati.'

Day 7: Lucca
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
