Description

Day 1: Arrival in Bordeaux - Pian Medoc
Welcome to Bordeaux! After arriving at the station or airport, a comfortable taxi transfer will await you to Pian Medoc. At your hotel, you will receive your bicycle and a detailed roadbook with all the information about the route ahead. It will be the prelude to an unforgettable adventure among the vineyards of the Medoc.

Day 2: Pian Medoc - Blaye (45 or 60 km; +80 m)
You will wake up surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Medoc and start your day cycling along the famous "Route des Châteaux". Immersed among the vineyards of Margaux, Haut-Médoc, and Moulis, you will discover the charming wine estates that make this region a dream for wine lovers. Stop at picturesque ports like St Julien, imagining the "gabares" loaded with barrels that once plied these waters. Upon reaching Lamarque, you will cross the Gironde estuary to reach the majestic citadel of Blaye, where history and the beauty of the landscape blend into a spectacular view.

Day 3: Blaye - St-Émilion (65 km; +320 m)
Today you will venture among the renowned vineyards of the Côtes de Blaye AOC Bordeaux, along the poetic "Corniche Fleurie". Palm trees, oleanders, and oaks will accompany you toward Bourg-sur-Gironde, an authentic architectural gem dominated by centuries-old walls. Continuing, you'll pass through the territories of Fronsac and Pomerol, two prestigious names in the universe of French wines. In Pomerol, small but renowned, you can taste world-famous foods and wines, such as the famous "Pétrus". In the heart of the lands of Fronsac, you will feel the echo of history, where wines conquered the court of Louis XIV. Finally, you will arrive in Saint-Émilion, a cradle of winemaking traditions and enchanting landscapes preserved by time.

Day 4: Saint-Émilion Vineyards Tour (25-35 km; +100 m)
An astonishing tour awaits you, among ancient stones and fine vines. You will explore the soul of Saint-Émilion, among the villages and vineyards that combine history and breathtaking landscapes. Don't miss the opportunity to reach Castillon la Bataille, and then return along the banks of the Dordogne river. A day that will enrich your knowledge and spirit.

Day 5: Saint-Émilion - Bordeaux (50 km; +220 m)
You will conclude your journey crossing Branne and taking the "Roger Lapébie" cycle path, where nature and tranquility will keep you company. You will admire ancient medieval towns, fortified villages, mills, Romanesque churches, and abbeys. This route will lead you to the majestic Place de la Bourse in the heart of Bordeaux, where you can conclude your journey admiring the stone bridge and the quays that made history.

Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, it will be time to bid farewell to these lands full of history, wine, and smiles.
