Description

Day 1: Bad Goisern
Individual arrival at Bad Goisern. After settling your luggage, documents and maps will be provided. Visit this picturesque Austrian town located on the banks of the Traun River and surrounded by the Dachstein Alps. The city also offers many cultural attractions, such as the Local History Museum and the parish church of St. Peter. Overnight in Bad Goisern.
 
Day 2: Bad Goisern – Bad Ischl – Strobl (43 km; +1304/-1231 m)
This first bicycling stage will take you from Bad Goisern to Wurmstein and Hotel Predigstuhl, from where your route along the Ewige Wand to the Reinfalzalm alpine pasture begins. After conquering the likes of Leckenmoos, Gschwendalm, and the Hoisnradalm refuge, you will finally arrive in Bad Ischl. From here, you can take the Salzkammergut cycle path (R2) and continue along this path until you reach Strobl on the Wolfgangsee Lake.

Day 3: Strobl – Bad Ischl (64 km; +1600/-1688 m)
The route today will guide you to the lakes, Schwarzensee and Attersee. Afterward, you will return via Moosalm to the main road that leads to the beautiful lake Mondsee. Then you will travel the same route to lake Wolfgangsee, passing through Scharfling. From there, continue to St. Gilgen with a lakeside meander to Abersee and Strobl, before reaching your final destination of the day: Bad Ischl. Overnight in Bad Ischl.

Day 4: Bad Ischl – Hallstatt (47 km; +1239/-1193 m)
You start from Via Perneck, a district of Bad Ischl, and proceed towards Hoisenradalm until you reach Hütteneckalm. Here, you'll find the entrance to the Schwarzenbachloch cave, the goods road leads to Halleralm mountain dairy, and you continue on the Salzberg to Altaussee up to St. Agatha, in Bad Goisern district. Via the Ostuferradweg Trail you will finally reach Obertraun and Hallstatt. Overnight in Hallstatt.

Day 5: Hallstatt – Gosau – Bad Goisern (49 km; +1793/-1820 m)
Starting from Hallstatt, you can follow a route that goes through Waldbachstrub and Durchgangalm to reach Rossalm mountain pasture. Here you can take a break to refresh and enjoy a traditional snack (included). The route then continues towards Loeckenmoosberg mountain to Gosau Vordertal. From here, the route will take you to Gosauzwang on lake Hallstaettersee, from where you can continue along the lakeside until Bad Goisern. From here, you then proceed to Gosauzwang on lake Hallstaettersee and from this point, you can continue along the lakeside to Bad Goisern. Overnight in Bad Goisern.

Day 6: Bad Goisern
After breakfast, services end and you depart at your leisure.
