Description

Day 1: Rimini
Individual arrival in Rimini. Meeting with the guide for the briefing and to try out the bicycles. A small excursion in the center of Rimini which offers walks among alleys and important historical sites, from the Arch of Augustus to the Tiberius Bridge and the Malatestian Castle Sismondo. We will go to discover corners unknown to most by the evening with the first experiential dinner in the renowned Borgo San Giuliano, the ancient village of fishermen and authentic Rimini residents. Today it is a social hub with many venues.

Day 2: Rimini – Santarcangelo di Romagna (33 km; +496 m)
The first stage of the tour in the hills of ancient Malatesta memory. We will honor the hometown of the Malatesta family by going to Verucchio along the Marecchia Valley, to visit the ancient village. Verucchio arouses curiosity at any time of the year and the imposing rock on which it is perched makes it even more fascinating along with the Malatesta Fortress. We will descend towards Villa Verucchio, Corpolò and, on secondary roads, we will arrive in Santarcangelo di Romagna, the charming medieval village. The inhabited nucleus enjoys a privileged position, nestled between the Uso river and the Marecchia, and benefits from the protection of the Giove Hill, crossed by the peculiar Tuff Caves (possible to visit by reservation). High up is the castle of Paolo and Francesca, the two clandestine lovers told by Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy. Arrival at the residence. A tour of the village among a thousand curiosities. Typical dinner in an inn.

Day 3: Santarcangelo di Romagna – San Leo (35 km; +900 m)
Stage in the Rimini hinterland between the Uso and Marecchia to arrive at the Rocca di San Leo. We will take hillside roads that will lead us to visit the Montebello Castle (Torriana) where the legend of the ghost of Azzurrina persists; the visit is a must. We will continue through Pietracuta and reach San Leo on country roads in Romagna. San Leo is a wonderful village in the Rimini hinterland, located in the heart of Montefeltro in Alta Valmarecchia. With the famous fortress that stands on a rocky spur, the characteristic historic center, the parish church and the cathedral of San Leone, the village of San Leo is a must-see when deciding to spend a holiday in Romagna. After leaving the bikes, we will visit the fortress, where Cagliostro was imprisoned until his death. Typical dinner.

Day 4: San Leo – San Marino (45 km; +800 m)
This stage of the bicycle tour will take us from San Leo to San Marino, providing a unique experience through fascinating landscapes and extraordinary historical heritage. Along the route, we will have the opportunity to admire the majestic castles of San Marino, recognized as a World Heritage Site. We will cross the border of the Malatesta domains, immersing ourselves in the history and atmosphere of these places rich in charm and cultural significance.

Day 5: San Marino – Pesaro (60 km; +715 m)
This exciting stage of our bicycle tour will lead us from San Marino to Pesaro, through a fascinating itinerary that crosses picturesque villages and majestic castles. In particular, we will explore the villages of Morciano, Saludecio, Mondaino, Montegridolfo and Gradara, following the route of the Malatesta feuds. This stretch offers not only the beauty of the surrounding landscapes but also the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the history and cultural heritage of the Malatesta, a family that has left a significant mark on this fascinating region. The picturesque villages and historical castles will enrich this cycling experience, offering a journey through time and local culture.

Day 6: Pesaro – Rimini (45 km)
This exciting stage of our bicycle tour will take us from Pesaro to Rimini, along one of the most fascinating bike routes: La Panoramica. This road offers breathtaking scenery while crossing picturesque locations such as Fiorenzuola di Focara and Casteldimezzo, immersing us in the natural beauty of the area. The route continues through the striking San Bartolo Park before reaching Gabicce. With a distance of approximately 45 km, this stage promises a mix of coastal, hilly landscapes, and an extraordinary cycling experience along the Adriatic coast.

Day 7: Rimini
