After the bike handover (if rented), you will cycle from Saarburg through the idyllic nature reserve of the Saar river. Continue to Wasserbillig in Luxembourg and from there to the Igel Column. Afterward, you will reach Trier (Treviri), today's final destination, where the boat awaits you. If interested, you can book a guided city walking tour (not included). Stroll through Trier immersing yourself in the Roman history of this city dating back to 16 B.C, one of the oldest in Germany. Don't miss the Porta Nigra, the Basilica of Constantine, and the Roman amphitheater.

Day 3: Trier – Pfalzel – Mehring (26 or 29 km)
After breakfast, you will cycle from Trier to the charming village of Pfalzel, up to Mehring, famous for its white wine and home to the largest wine-growing community in the Moselle, Saar and Ruwer river region.

Day 4: Mehring – Piesport – Bernkastel-Kues (47 km)
You will reach Bernkastel-Kues by bike, whose majestic half-timbered houses frame the medieval market square. Along the way, you will cross Neumagen-Dhron, Germany's oldest winemaking town. Further on, you will encounter Piesport, home to the oldest winemaking community on the Moselle, located in the largest wine complex north of the Alps. Take some time to taste the exquisite wines.

Day 5: Bernkastel-Kues – Traben-Trarbach – Zell an der Moselle (43 km)
Today's bike tour will take you to the romantic village of Traben-Trarbach, located on the left bank of the Moselle and famous for Jugendstil (art noveau) architecture. Further on, your final destination is Zell an der Moselle, known in the wine industry for the Zeller Schwarze Katz wine. In Zell, you will have the chance to sample the superb wines from the Moselle region.

Day 6: Zell – Beilstein – Cochem (39 km)
