Day 1: Tours
Individual arrival in Tours. Before starting your tour of the Loire by bike, take the opportunity to visit the city of Tours. Here we recommend you to explore the old part, whose pulsating heart is the Place Plumereau, a lively square enriched by the typical half-timbered houses and animated by the terraces of the cafes and restaurants that overlook it.

Day 2: Tours - Azay le Rideau (44 km)
You will first reach the village of Savonnières where, if you wish, you can visit the so-called Petrifying Caves, so called because here the water turns into stone or rather, into extraordinary white limestone creations. The journey then continues to the Château de Villandry, famous for its gardens, unique in Europe, where flowers mingle with fruit trees, vegetables and aromatic herbs. The route continues through Saché, the home museum of the writer Honoré de Balzac and ends in Azay le Rideau, where you can admire the splendid Renaissance castle, a jewel set in the Indre river.

Day 3: Azay le Rideau - Chinon (35 km)
Departure in the morning towards Langeais and its 15th century fortress castle. The route then continues towards the Château d'Ussé whose turrets, pinnacles and dormers inspired Perrault in the creation of his famous fairy tale Sleeping Beauty. Spend the evening in the beautiful medieval town of Chinon, on the banks of the Vienne river, famous for its elegant red wines.

Day 4: Chinon - Saumur (36 km)
Before leaving Chinon, visit one of the cellars in which the famous red wine is left to age. The route then continues to the Abbey of Fontevraud, one of the largest monastic complexes in Europe, where the tombs of kings from the Plantagenet dynasty are kept. The tour ends in the beautiful town of Saumur.

Day 5: Saumur - Angers (58 km)
The route first follows the course of the Loire and then crosses the vineyards of the Anjou. You will then reach the quiet city of Angers with the imposing fortress of the castle in which the world's largest medieval tapestry is kept: the Apocalypse Tapestry.

Day 6: Angers
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure during the day.
