Description

Day 1: Arrone - Marmore Waterfall (15 km)
Individual arrival in Arrone. Start cycling on the Greenway of the Nera river up to the Marmore Waterfall, passing through Casteldilago. Easy, flat loop route with some dirt road sections.

Day 2:Arrone - Scheggino (20 km)
Continuing along the Greenway of the Nera river, you pass through Ferentillo (Precetto), Macenano and Ceselli cycling on compact dirt road, with some ups and downs. After the first stretch, which develops on a large plain after Precetto, the Greenway of the Nera river continues along the Valnerina, up to Scheggino.

Day 3:Scheggino - Sant'Anatolia di Narco (42 km)
Today's route climbs the hill, brushing past Castel San Felice and Piedipaterno, before entering the section that runs along the Nera river to Borgo Cerreto. Continue along the former railway, where there are some dark tunnels (you need to have headlights) to reach the Balza Tagliata locality, following the Corno river. Return to Scheggino retracing much of the outbound route, with slight detours between Castel San Felice and Sant'Anatolia di Narco.

Day 4:Scheggino - Arrone (21 km)
Cycling from Scheggino to Arrone, passing through the Abbey of San Pietro in Valle; the route unwinds in the valley bottom with some ups and downs. All stage on a compact and easily passable dirt road. At the end of the stage, end of service and individual departure.
