Description

```html
Day 1: Passau
Individual arrival in Passau, an enchanting city situated at the confluence of the Danube, Inn, and Ilz rivers, also known as The City of Three Rivers. We recommend a visit to St. Stephen's Cathedral, which houses the largest organ in the world. If you have time, take the opportunity to attend one of the concerts held there; it is an acoustic experience you won't easily forget. Boarding is from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 2: Engelhartszell – Branstatt (43 km)
Your first bike stage begins in the classic and picturesque setting of the "Great Loop" at Donauschlinge, one of the most beautiful sections of the Danube. It's an extremely fascinating area where the river makes a U-turn in the midst of a valley dotted with small villages bustling with local life. At Austria’s only Trappist monastery in Engelhartszell, you can taste the delicious liqueurs and cheeses produced by the monks. You will find the boat waiting for you in Branstatt. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3: Devin – Bratislava (45 km)
Today's bike route will take you along the Iron Curtain, the imaginary line that, during the Cold War, divided Eastern Europe under Soviet influence from Western Europe under the influence of the United States. The Danube bike path will lead you to the beautiful Imperial Palace of Hof, with its terraced gardens and the picturesque 17th-century residence, the hunting lodge of Prince Eugene of Savoy. After crossing the largest and most unspoiled floodplain in Europe, you will arrive in Bratislava, at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains. At this point, you can choose to continue exploring Bratislava with a guided tour (not included) to discover the treasures of the historic center: the castle, the Gothic Cathedral of St. Martin, or the old town hall. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4: Circular tour Budapest – Szentendre – Budapest (48 km), or free day
The morning will be spent sailing gently along the bends of the Danube before entering Budapest. The entrance to the city, where many of the main tourist attractions are located directly on the river, is impressive. You can visit the city by taking advantage of a guided bike or bus tour (not included), or alternatively, you can continue by bike to Szentendre, an ancient Roman stronghold now a pleasant tourist destination with an active artistic life. The city exudes a warm Mediterranean atmosphere. At the end of the day, you can participate in a typical evening to experience the local folklore (not included). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5: Danube Bend – Esztergom (50 km)
Today's stage will take you cycling through the Hungarian Wachau, a valley with truly unique landscapes perfect for discovering by bike. You will then reach the characteristic bishopric town of Esztergom, famous for hosting the largest Catholic church in Hungary. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6: Free day in Vienna
Today you will have an entire day at your disposal to discover the Austrian capital, savoring the unique atmosphere of the ancient imperial city. You can explore it by bike or bus (not included), visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Prater amusement park, or the Hofburg complex, which was the center of Austrian power for more than six centuries. Finally, don’t miss a walk along the Ringstrasse, a long avenue lined with some of the city's most important buildings and monuments: the National Theater (Staatsoper), the Parliament, the Burgtheater. In the afternoon, you'll have plenty of time to rest in one of Vienna's many cafés and then perhaps, in the evening, attend a concert or a waltz at the Wiener Kursalon or a typical local venue (not included). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7: Wachau/Krems – Melk/Pöchlarn (37 or 45 km)
Today a magnificent bike stage awaits you. The area around the Danube that you will explore alternates between timeless little villages, apricot orchards, vineyards, castles, monasteries, and hilltop ruins. You will be enchanted by this fairy-tale landscape, where it will be a real pleasure to pedal. You will pass through the baroque town of Dürnstein, where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned, while in Spitz you can stop to taste one of the many regional wines in one of the typical taverns along the bike path (wine tasting not included). The Benedictine Abbey of Melk, perched on a hill overlooking the Danube, is a true architectural marvel. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 8: Passau
On the last day of the tour, in the morning, you can enjoy the first rays of sun from the ship's deck, immersed in the peace of the Danube Valley. A final stretch of navigation will take you back, in total relaxation, to Passau. Disembarkation begins at around 11:00 AM. We recommend planning your return trip considering departures from 12:00 PM onward.
