Description

Day 1: Prien am Chiemsee or Pelham am See
Individual arrival and hotel check-in. During the day, the local staff will provide you with information about the tour and deliver the bicycles (if booked).

Day 2: Eggstätter Seenplatte and Amerang (40 or 60 km)
The oldest nature reserve in Bavaria, the Eggstätter Seenplatte, includes 18 lakes and is full of picturesque spots. You will cycle through woods, fragrant meadows, and charming farms up to Höslwang, with a magnificent panoramic view of the upper Bavarian Alps. If you wish, you can extend this tour by 20 kilometers and ride up to Amerang, where you will find the famous Car Museum and the historical Farm Museum. Passing through Eggstätt and Breitbrunn, you will return to Prien or Pelham.

Day 3: Tour in the Bavarian Sea (65 km)
Today you will discover the beauty of Lake Chiemsee and the landscape along the way. You will be enchanted by the unique nature and visit the main attractions, such as the Roman Museum in Seebruck or the Horse Museum in Arlaching. You can also swim and refresh yourself in the waters of Lake Chiemsee.

Day 4: Tour of Herreninsel and Fraueninsel
Take the boat from Prien to Herreninsel, where you can visit the famous Herrenchiemsee castle, built under King Ludwig II. On your return, you will stop at Fraueninsel, where you will find a famous abbey, the oldest still-existing German-speaking women's convent on the northern side of the Alps. Explore the beautiful gardens, the fish smokehouses, and the romantic outdoor areas of the lake restaurant. Only the Standard and Superior categories include the arrival at the pier (otherwise round trip 20 km).

Day 5: Tour in the Achental Valley or excursion to Simsee Lake and Rosenheim (40 or 55 km)
Today's tour will depend on the hotel category you are staying in: if you stay in the Standard or Superior category, you will cycle to discover the Achental Valley, everyone else will have an exciting excursion to Simsee Lake and Rosenheim. In the first case, you will need to take a bus or train (not included) from Prien to Übersee. Then you will cycle breathing the healthy air of Grassau and along the Achental cycle path, passing by Unterwössen up to Schleching. You will pass through colorful meadows, surrounded by spectacular mountains, and pedal along the peaceful Tiroler Ache river, passing through Marquartstein up to Grassau. Quiet and shaded paths will lead you through the Rottauer Filze (moor) up to Bernau and along Lake Chiemsee up to Prien. In the second case, you will cycle towards Bad Endorf up to Simsee Lake, with its beautiful reed beds and pristine shores. The cycle paths continue along the lake, through nature and landscape. After a few kilometers, you will reach the Inn river, which will take you to the center of Rosenheim, with its historic center, outdoor breweries, and decorated facades. Return by train (not included).

Day 6: Lakes and Monasteries (45 km)
The day starts with a picturesque boat trip on Lake Chiemsee from Prien to Seebruck (only for Standard and Superior categories, otherwise bike to Seebruck). You will then cycle through Truchtlaching an der Alz, up to Seeon Monastery, with its famous buildings and romantic lake. In the charming town of Gstadt, you will admire the magical blue of Lake Chiemsee again and cycle through Breitbrunn and Rimst, up to your hotel.

Day 7: Aschau – Bernau (40 km)
Cycle over the romantic hills of Chiemgau up to Aschau, where famous artists and actors have settled. The Hohenauschau castle dominates the town and is not far from the valley station of the cable car, which leads up to Kampenwand. After a short visit to the Hammersbach waterfall, you will cycle through Bernau and on flat paths return to Prien.

Day 8: Prien am Chiemsee
After breakfast, services end, and individual departure.
