Description

1st day: Toulouse
Individual arrival in Toulouse and accommodation in a hotel, delivery of bicycles if rented. Toulouse, also known as the Ville Rose for the color that dominates its buildings, has two UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Canal du Midi and the Basilica of Saint Sernin, the largest Romanesque building remaining in Europe, registered in 1998 for its significance in the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.

2nd day: Toulouse - Moissac (67 km)
Following a varied and stimulating route along the Canal de la Garonne, you will reach Moissac, an important center of Romanesque art, located on the Way of Santiago de Compostela. The Saint Pierre abbey complex and the cloister, masterpieces of Romanesque art, are part of UNESCO's World Heritage. It is in Moissac, that the Tarn river meets the Garonne.

3rd day: Moissac - Sérignac sur Garonne (55 km)
A bucolic itinerary through many orchards and vineyards, will take you out of Moissac, continuing along the Canal de la Garonne, passing through the superb Agen Pont Canal, a truly surprising work of engineering. The center of Agen, capital of the department, is certainly worth a visit. You will then arrive at Sérignac sur Garonne.

4th day: Sérignac sur Garonne - Le Mas d'Agenais (37 km)
Passing through the picturesque town of Damazan, you will continue along the shady banks of the Canal de la Garonne, with various possibilities to stop, and then arrive at Le Mas d'Agenais. Here, don't miss a visit to the beautiful Romanesque church, which encloses a real treasure: Rembrandt's Christ on the Cross.

5th day: Le Mas d'Agenais - Camiran (37.5 km)
From Le Mas d'Agenais, you will retake the Garonne Canal cycle path, passing through Fourques sur Garonne, until you reach La Réole, a real balcony over the Garonne, which developed around the ancient Benedictine Priory. From here, pedaling along quiet little roads, you will reach Camiran.

6th day: Camiran - Bordeaux (63 km)
Following a varied and stimulating route along the cycle path and the green line called "Roger Lapébie", in honor of the famous cyclist winner of the Tour de France in 1937. You will pass through the medieval village of Sauveterre de Guyenne, a beautiful historic city with four doors and fortified founded in 1281. Pedaling you will finally reach Bordeaux, which will seduce you with its elegant architectures. Fascinating is Sauve Majeure, the Benedictine abbey near the Bastide de Créon.

7th day: Bordeaux
After breakfast, end of service.
