Description

Day 1: San Vito Lo Capo
Individual arrival at Palermo or Trapani airport and transfer to San Vito Lo Capo, a fishing village by the sea, known for its stunning beach and the Festival of Cous Cous. Accommodation in a hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Riserva dello Zingaro (20 km hike; +/-500 m)
Your excursion begins from the North entrance of the Riserva dello Zingaro, where a beautiful and evocative walk awaits you. You will walk along trails with the sea at your side, skirting charming coves and picturesque bays and admiring the breathtaking panorama that the gulf offers, immersed in one of the most important conservation areas of northwestern Sicily. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: San Vito lo Capo - Trapani/Nubia (55 km; +810/-1060 m)
On this day you will travel through the interior of Sicily by bicycle, crossing countryside and solitary places that express the true character of rural Sicily, where small villages bear witness to a time that has stood still. You will then continue along the north-western coast of the island with its, now disused, tuna fisheries.

Day 4: Trapani/Nubia - Mozia - Marsala (50 km; +/-290 m)
Riding in total relaxation! The scenic road runs alongside the sea and the view of the Saline Windmills is surprising. You will then be able to visit the island of Mozia, an ancient Punic stronghold, now an archaeological site and home to a private museum of considerable value. Just a few more kilometers to reach Marsala and visit one of the cellars where a special liquor, Marsala, the famous sweet wine known worldwide, is produced.

Day 5: Marsala - Mazara del Vallo (29 km; +/-190 m)
Very easy and scenic ride along the sea to reach the town of Mazara del Vallo. Don't forget to visit the Museum where the famous Dancing Satyr is kept and don't miss the interesting visit of the kasbah (from Arabic citadel).

Day 6: Mazara del Vallo - Selinunte (40 km; +340/-310 m)
This stage will take you to the archaeological site of Selinunte, an ancient Greek city founded in the 7th century BC that enjoyed an authentic splendor for about two centuries. Today its archaeological park, which overlooks the sea, preserves the remains of the Acropolis and offers a beauty as a whole like few others. Before reaching the largest archaeological park in Europe, ride along the sea of Sicily by bicycle: let yourself be tempted by a refreshing swim.

Day 7: Selinunte - Sciacca (40 km; +380/-360 m)
Today's stage winds through the countryside and will take you to the charming town of Sciacca, a seaside town famous for its ceramics, thermal baths, and its religious festivals.

Day 8: Sciacca
After breakfast, end of services.
