Description

1st day: Orroli
Private transfer or individual arrival in Orroli and overnight stay.

2nd day: Orroli – Barumini (42 km)
In the morning, visit the nuraghe Arrubiu, one of the most imposing megalithic complexes on the island. After a stop at the organic mill of Nurri for a demonstration of traditional grinding method, we descend among the olive groves of Gergei to reach Barumini, where we stay in a hotel converted from a typical Campidanese house.

3rd day: Barumini – Villanovaforru (45 km)
In Barumini, visit Su Nuraxi, an important example of a nuragic city recognized as a world heritage site by Unesco. Pedaling along the gentle hills of Marmilla, green in spring and golden in summer, we immerse ourselves in splendid landscapes and pass through villages where time seems to have stopped. In Sanluri we visit the medieval castle.

4th day: Villanovaforru – Arbus (45 km)
From the gentle hills of Marmilla, we go to the oak forests and pastures of the mountains of Arbus. The environmental quality and the richness of faunal species make this area one of the most interesting of the tour. The merits of the area are proven by the numerous recognitions received, such as the 5 sails repeatedly awarded by the Blu Guide of the Touring Club Italia.

5th day: Arbus – Gonnesa (41 km)
This stage is dedicated to the ancient mining activity of Sardinia, with the fascinating abandoned mines of Ingortosu and Masua. After the enchanting cove of Cala Domestica and the suggestive rock of Sugar Loaf, you enjoy the view of the surprising Nebida washhouse immersed in the Mediterranean scrub.

6th day: Gonnesa – island of Carloforte – Calasetta (43 km)
After a beautiful descent to Fontanamare, reach Portoscuso to embark for the island of Carloforte, famous for the fishing of red tuna. From Carloforte pass to Calasetta on the island of Sant'Antioco, where you stop for the night.

7th day: Calasetta – Sant'Anna Arresi (40 km)
Today you cycle through the meadows, green in spring and blonde in summer, of the island of Sant'Antioco. In Tratalias you await the Pisan sanctuary, one of the most significant monuments of Sardinian Romanesque. Along Lake Monte Pranu, breathe in the sweetness and tranquility of the flat countryside of Sulcis.

8th day: the South Coast (57 km)
The crowning moment of your tour is the suggestive and wild South Coast, with its white beaches, lush nature and its imposing cliffs: Cape Malfatano with its sixteenth-century tower, Cape Spartivento and Chia. In Nora visit the ancient Phoenician settlement.

9th day: Pula
After breakfast, end of services.
