Description

Day 1: Montevecchio
Private transfer or independent arrival in Montevecchio and overnight stay.

Day 2: Ring of the Costa Verde (38 km; +/-920 m)
After crossing the center of Montevecchio, once the most important mining center in the Sulcis area, enjoy the fantastic single track of Sardinia in MTB along the Rio Irvi, which you will cross no less than 18 times before reaching the sea. After skirting the beautiful Costa Verde, whose waters do honor to its name, the unmistakable profile of Mount Arcuentu will be your reference as you make your way back to your farmhouse.

Day 3: Montevecchio - Fighezia (41 km; +/-750 m)
Immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, another exciting single track takes you to Piscinas beach with its dunes up to 50 meters high, the largest in Europe. During the subsequent ascent you will cross the village of Ingortosu, another testament to the now ceased mining activity. A welcoming farmhouse with excellent food is ready to host you this evening.

Day 4: Fighezia - Nebida (42 or 49 km; +/-1290 m)
After the village of Fluminimaggiore, you will cycle in the unspoiled nature of this corner of Sardinia in MTB, traveling along ancient mining roads until you return back to the coast at Nebida, where you will stop for the night. Don't miss a unique spectacle: the view of the suggestive Sugarloaf Rock at sunset.

Day 5: Nebida
