Description

Day 1: Omišalj - Cres
Individual arrival in Omišalj, a charming pirate nest on the island of Krk. If you decide to arrive by car, we will be pleased to organize secure parking for your car for the whole week. If you arrive from Zagreb, we can also organize a transfer for you to the port of Omišalj. Check-in on board is possible from around 2 pm. Once settled in the cabins, we enjoy the first crossing towards Cres. If the weather is good, we stop for a swim in a beautiful bay and you can take a dip in the Adriatic Sea. Our destination is the island's namesake capital, where we spend the night. The Venetian-imprinted historical center of Cres, with its beautiful alleys and numerous churches, invites you to take a long evening walk.

Day 2: Cres- Pula (24 km)
After breakfast on board, the first task is to arrange the bikes in the idyllic port of Cres and take a first bike tour to the lighthouse. Later, we will make a longer crossing to Pula, at the southernmost tip of Istria, where a guided tour of the historic center awaits us. The secret capital of Istria greets us with impressive testimony of its Roman past. Take enough time for a long walk and explore the impressive ancient monuments, such as the famous amphitheater reminiscent of the Roman Colosseum, the Temple of Augustus and the Golden Gate.

Day 3: Pula - Vrsar (32 km)
In the morning we explore some picturesque places in and around Pula. Passing through Galizana, we head to Dignano and then proceed to the fishing village of Fazana before returning to Pula. Once in Pula, the boat takes us to Vrsar (Orsera) with the option for a swim break in the Limski Fjord. In Orsera, where you will spend the night, it is believed that Casanova, the heart-stealer, sought temporary refuge from the husbands of his lovers.

Day 4: Vrsar - Poreč (40 km)
From Orsera, we cycle along the Leme Channel to Kloštar, in the rural hinterland. During a longer break, we refresh ourselves with a local meal before continuing our tour towards Poreč. In the afternoon, strolling through the fascinating historic center with its splendid buildings from past eras, we encounter the colorful history of Poreč on every corner. The shopping alleys exude a real energy. A visit to the famous Euphrasian Basilica with its magnificent early Christian mosaics is also worthwhile.

Day 5: Poreč - Novigrad - Rovinj (66 km)
In the morning we follow the "Parenzana", an old railway line, that leads us to the famous artists' village of Grožnjan. This quaint artists' village is a medieval gem in the Istrian hinterland. It awaits us with romantic alleys, flower-decked squares and various galleries that have found a home in ancient natural stone houses. In the afternoon, we cross rural Istria passing through Buje to Novigrad, where we get back on board, with the possibility of a short break for swimming, before continuing to Rovinj for the overnight stay.

Day 6: Rovinj - Fažana – Rabac (30 km)
Our morning bike ride takes us close to the coast, mostly on natural forest paths, to Fažana, with its characteristic little harbor and seafront lined with colorful houses. Then, we continue to Pula, where our boat will take us on a longer crossing to Rabac. Here, located in a picturesque bay on the eastern coast of Istria, we can enjoy lovely white pebble beaches, clear waters and a beautiful harbor. Don't miss an evening cocktail in a local bar.

Day 7: Rabac – Njivice - Omišalj (43 km)
Early in the morning, we cross the island of Krk, where the last bike stage awaits us. The route will take us from Njivice to Omišalj. The largest island in Croatia - home to the delicious white wine Zlahtina - amazes with the variety of its landscapes. Don't miss the opportunity to cover yourself in mineral mud in the bay of Soline: not only will it rejuvenate you by ten years but it will also be a great memory of your holiday! Back at the port of Omišalj, our boat awaits us with a final delicious dinner on board, to be spent cheerfully in the company of fellow travelers, crew and guides.

Day 8: Omišalj
After breakfast, disembark by 9 am and end of services.
Return individually or extend your stay in Istria.
