Description

Day 1: Turin
Individual arrival in Tornino. After settling in, take the opportunity to stroll around welcoming Turin, Italy's first capital. There are countless attractions this enchanting city has to offer, for example: the Mole Antonelliana, Cinema Museum, Egyptian Museum, the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, and the Medieval Village.

Day 2: Turin – Pinerolo (51 km)
Today's stage is mostly flat. From Turin, cycle along the Po and its small tributaries, on bike lanes and small roads, to the foot of the mountains. Continue past the Medieval Village, Castello del Valentino, the Reggia di Stupinigi, the royal residence of the Savoy family, a rococo masterpiece by architect Filippo Juvarra. Then, from park to park, always along the rivers, reach Pinerolo on a truly charming road. Spend the night in this delightful town, which was once home to the most famous cavalry school in Italy.

Day 3: Pinerolo – Cavour – Saluzzo (46 km)
Cycling along quiet roads through orchards and vineyards, you will reach Cavour with its unusual fortress, a glacial hill located in the middle of the plain. Continuing the itinerary, you will arrive at Saluzzo, a lovely medieval town where you will stay overnight.

Day 4: Saluzzo – Fossano – Bene Vagienna – Bra/Cherasco (63 or 69 km)
After a hearty breakfast, you will start to discover the wonderful Saluzzo area and by traversing calm roads, you will have the possibilities to admire and visit, if you wish, the Manta and Costigliole castles, the ancient Roman town of Bene Vagienna and its archaeological area. Continuing to cycle, you will arrive at Cherasco, which boasts over seven centuries of history and art, or Bra, the taste capital, where the organization Slow Food is located.

Day 5: Bra/Cherasco – Pollenzo – Barolo – Alba (39/45 or 55/61 km)
Today you will immerse yourself in the beauty of the Langhe. The itinerary starts exploring Pollenzo, an important Roman city surrounded by an enchanting park along the Tanaro River. Afterwards, you will cycle towards Alba following the river course and, after having faced easy ascents, you will arrive at Barolo where you can discover the wonderful Falletti Castle, home to the regional wine shop, and where you can delight in tasting the famous wine of the same name. Overnight in Alba, the city of the white truffle and tower houses.

Day 6: Alba – Asti (45 or 55 km)
You will leave Alba behind to dive into the Roero, located between the plain of Carmagnola and the low hills of Astigiano. Cycling through orchards, small woods, and wonderful wine landscapes, you will arrive in Asti, a town rich in history, famous for its sparkling wine and the Palio, a traditional festival of medieval origins.

Day 7: Asti – Casale (56 km)
Crossing the fascinating hills of Monferrato, you will arrive at Moncalvo, a charming village located in the heart of Monferrato and considered one of the smallest cities in Italy. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Casale, a baroque city located at the foot of the Monferrato hills, along the banks of the Po.

Day 8: Casale
After breakfast, the services end and individual departure.
