Description

Day 1: Turin
Individual arrival in Turin. After settling your luggage, take advantage of it to stroll in the welcoming Turin, the first Capital of Italy. There are countless attractions that this charming city has to offer, such as: the Mole Antonelliana, the Cinema Museum, the Egyptian Museum, the Chapel of the Shroud and the Medieval Village.

Day 2: Turin – Pinerolo (51 km)
Today's stage is mainly flat. From Turin, you will cycle along the Po and its small tributaries, on cycle paths and small roads, to the foot of the mountains. Continuing, you will pass next to the Medieval Village, the Valentino Castle, the Stupinigi Royal Palace, Royal residence of the Savoy family, masterpiece of the architect Filippo Juvarra in rococo style. Then, from park to park, always along the rivers, you will reach Pinerolo on a truly lovely road. You will spend the night in this delightful town, which was in the past the seat of the most famous cavalry school in Italy.

Day 3: Pinerolo – Cavour – Saluzzo (46 km)
Cycling along quiet roads among orchards and vineyards, you will reach Cavour with its curious Rocca, a moraine hill located in the middle of the plain. Continuing the itinerary, you will arrive at Saluzzo, a charming medieval city where you will stay overnight.

Day 4: Saluzzo – Fossano – Bene Vagienna – Bra/Cherasco (63 or 69 km)
After a hearty breakfast, you will set off to discover the wonderful area of Saluzzo and cycling along quiet roads, you can admire and visit, if you wish, the castles of Manta and Costigliole, the ancient Roman town of Bene Vagienna and its archaeological area. Continuing cycling, you will arrive at Cherasco, boasting over seven centuries of history and art, or at Bra, the capital of taste, where the organization Slow Food is based.

Day 5: Bra/Cherasco – Pollenzo – Barolo – Alba (39/45 or 55/61 km)
Today you will immerse yourself in the beauty of the Langhe. The itinerary begins by discovering Pollenzo, an important Roman city surrounded by a charming park along the Tanaro river. Then you will cycle towards Alba following the course of the river and, after challenging easy climbs, you will arrive in Barolo where you can discover the wonderful Falletti Castle, home to the regional wine shop, where you can delight in tasting the famous wine of the same name. Overnight stay in Alba, the city of white truffle and tower houses.

Day 6: Alba – Asti (45 or 55 km)
You will leave Alba behind to immerse yourself in Roero, located between the plain of Carmagnola and the low hills of Asti. Cycling through orchards, small woods and wonderful wine landscapes you will reach Asti, a town rich in history, famous for its sparkling wine and the Palio, a traditional festival of medieval origins.

Day 7: Asti – Casale (56 km)
Crossing the fascinating hills of the Monferrato, you will arrive in Moncalvo, a charming village located in the heart of the Monferrato and considered one of the smallest cities in Italy. In the afternoon you will arrive at Casale, a baroque city located at the foot of the Monferrato hills, along the banks of the Po.

Day 8: Casale
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
